LOL I used to see Sproles jerseys in sales bins at the grocery stores in SD.

@markasaxon: Josh Byrnes said the new front office talked a lot about improving what was perceived as dysfunction on team last year

I mean, we won't know if Kemp was bad in clubhouse but who knows, maybe they wanted a clearer roster in terms of roles and happiness

boom. people don't wanna believe it, but Kemp was obviously a son of a bitch in the clubhouse. and we're about to bring up young, impressionable prospects. cure the clubhouse and get'em out.

i don't know how many times chris has said it..there was a dysfunction in the clubhouse. obviously that wasn't the whole idea behind moving Kemp..just another part of it.

The trade essentially becomes, matt kemp, fed ex and Tom windle

    For

Grandal, Rollins, clearing some payroll, and Wieland

I'll place a wager with anyone that Rollins/Grandal out produce kemp next year in terms of value. We just got a SS and C who are good and traded from a place of strength

He was bad. Got better towards the end but it was a long season that wore on the FO

Getting stronger up the middle - an old-school way of making your team better by a new-school front office. Gotta love it (if you're paying attention)

Had Windle as a reliever. Slider wasn't an out pitch for me, and didn't really think he could start

part of why " mysteriously " no one wanted to give up a whole lot to inject Kemp into their clubhouse. Seattle's on the upswing..if i were them i wouldn't gamble with Kemp unless it was a clear win.

i like what you have there with the " vs. RHP "

but i don't think Kendrick should ever hit 2nd..check out his career splits in the 2-hole..not good. his splits in the 5-6 hole..outstanding. Puig can hit 2nd vs. lefties..SVS cleanup.

I doubt it, and the drop off is Kemp to (presumably) Joc. Rollins could have been had without trading Kemp.
