still, it's only occasional return fire on my part with our resident Yankee fan and i enjoy it. it is what it is..banter's just a part of the LAD forum in general. believe it or not, in a way, most of the time the banter here mirrors the 2014 MLB Postseason..in that the Yankees aren't even involved at all.

i understand that the source of most NYY fan's strength is the past, but my list is based on present conditions..i'm not concerned with 1993, the roided up '89 A's, or the NYY's Pettitte/Clemens' steroid powered championships of year's past.

2001 didn't help the Yankees against the O's last season and it won't help them next year either..especially since the Yankees just lost their 2nd best starter from the 2nd half of last season ( Kuroda) to the Hiroshima Carp of all people.
