I was in favor of bringing him in if he had been clean and was released by Cleveland... we need talent.

This latest fuck up will close that book.

Naw homey... Flat out Stupid is YOU putting your head in the sand and pretending that he ISN'T A CHEAT..

Cheat Carroll has been caught multiple times for multiple offenses for multiple teams and always ducks away. No integrity to speak of.

Maybe you'd see better if your took off those USC rose colored glasses.

    #3 overall pick - D'angelo Russell 6'5'' PG/SG Ohio State
    #25 overall pick - Frank Kaminsky 7'0'' C Wisconsin

..that'd probably be the most realistic outcome for the Lakers at this point. good additions though.

Julius Thomas just joined the Wheelhouse and said becoming part of the Raiders next season is a possibility, but has to wait to be reached out to.

Raiders fans, do you want #80 lining up as your tight end next season?

    Answer: Hell yes

    Both nice players.
Couple that with Randle coming back next year, and there's some nice young players.
Probably one more year of sucking and then room for two max free agents after 2016. Mike Conely and Joakim Noah?
Kevin Love and Kevin Durant are out there too, but I'm not that high on Love and just don't see Durant coming to LA.

I think Durant either stays in OKC or bolts to Washington. Durant on Washington would be pretty scary and maybe more ideal than OKC. OKC is never going to win a title with Scott Brooks as head coach. Running constant isos with Durant and Westbrook will get OKC nowhere.

OKCs management has shown that they aren't willing to do what it takes to win.
Trading away Harden because they don't want to pay Luxury tax?
    Seriously?

I think Durant is gone in 2016 (agree it's probably to Washington) and Westbrook is gone in 2017. Lakers may have a shot a Westbrook in 2017.

i'm with it mostly because we're not really in a position to be picky..i mean so long as the guy isn't " Josh Gordonesque ".

but i will say this..Thomas is buyer beware. he's got a bothersome left ankle that's been a pain since 2011. he's produced quite a bit though the last couple years..because of Peyton?? Thomas is talented, no doubt, but having Peyton and those other weapons can't hurt.

he is a Lodi cat and maybe the Raiders really do appeal to him and it's not just lip service, but the Raiders are probably lookin at having the most cap space in the league, so he also could be looking at that cap space and thinking $$$. he's not really all that good a blocker and we do already have a young pass catching TE in Rivera who's catching like 5TDs a year..maybe a Jermaine Gresham is a better fit? but again, i can't complain much about Thomas. just hopefully he'd stay healthy. i say go for it..Carr could benefit in a big way and that alone almost makes it worth the gamble.

    i'd love a Conley addition. that's a lot of lefties..Conley, D.Russell, and Randle..Ed Davis??

Noah's health worries me. i love him as a player though.

yea, i'm with you on Love..unless you're pairing him with great, great, great players i can't see him being a winner. he just cannot defend.

KD lives in LA in the off-season, so i think we stand more of a chance than most probably do. he's also embraced Kobe in a big way historically and has respect for the organization. but of course all the rumors have him landing in DC with the Wiz. we'll see. he's played with Westbrook his whole career..maybe he'll want a change from the Wall/Westbrook type and look for a true PG to team with like a Conley/Rondo type? that's about all we can hope for..that and that those young players pan out and make LAL look more attractive.

i pray that Westbrook is still " Westbrook " by 2017.

he's had 3 knee surgeries in the past year or so and he's spent a lot of time trying to find his old game. he's still crazy athletic, but he has lost a tiny half-step. but he's a lot like Kobe in that he's pushing through it. and he plays at 160MPH, so who knows where his health will be by 2017. hoping for the best. maybe if KD leaves, Westbrook demands a trade and tries to get out early??

yep..Mudiay definitely works. lookin pretty good over there in China.

i've seen a lot of mocks that have Wood going 14-18. would love to have him @ 25. our pick's still not set in stone though of course. we need Toronto to overtake Houston and maybe the Mavs to wake up and push Houston a bit to help move us up.

For the Patriots to blame a change in temperature for 15% lower-pressures, requires balls to be inflated with 125-degree air.

CBSSports.com also talked to an Ohio State professor who said it was highly unlikely the ball could go from 12.5 PSI to 10.5 PSI in a game that was played outdoors in 51 degree weather.

What does all of this mean? It means that Belichick should probably hire a scientist before he decides to make any future speeches about science.

Sad. Nadal was utter shit in the first two sets. Was starting to wonder if he was hurt or not, but he upped his game and intensity big time in the 3rd set. Berdych was too clutch on his serve and just hit through him.....tough to beat a guy 18 matches in a row. But as a big fan of Rafa, it stings. Djokovic needs to lose.

    Berdych earned that one.
Perfect match from him. Rafa didn't look like himself until the 3rd set, but Berdych was still the better player today.
