And I got to think his agent is going to drive him towards the big market like NY or LA, increase those endorsement deals and make it the most marketable player in the NBA.

And so you don't believe that Durant is being pressured to return to his home area? Think again. People in DC are already wearing Durant Wizards jerseys to the games. He gets it everyday on Twitter.

The nation's capital is big enough. Cleveland is small.

Look, think what you want and come up with all the tales you need, man. I'm done with it.

Who knows where Durant is going....seems extra grumpy in his interviews lately. Going to the East is so much more appealing with the lack of depth. A guy like Durant is almost a lock to make the ECF every year....while in the West, you can lose in round one with the insane amount of depth. The 2 seed Grizzlies would play defending champion SA in round 1 as of today, while the 2 seed in the East is the Raptors who were down 41 after 3 quarters vs GS at home last night....they'd draw the 25-33 Miami Heat as of today. That's fucked up.....lol.

    FIFY
My philosophy is that he needs to join the best long term team for him possible, whether that is the Wizards, or Knicks, or Raptors, or Lakers is entirely up to him, but if he can't beat the west team coming out of the west (If all else is equal) he sure as hell won't beat them coming out of the east. Losing in the finals will mean the same as losing in the 2nd round or conference finals. Championship or bust.

Fair enough, but it's easier to build up a better record with an Eastern Conference schedule and give yourself homecourt advantage in the playoffs and potentially the Finals. He's already experiencing foot problems and that isn't the type of thing that'll just go away forever as a 7 footer. It's so much easier to take days off and rest in the weak East as opposed to the West where you can go 15 games above 500 and miss the playoffs or get a terrible seed. I hope like hell he goes to the Lakers, but I am still going to predict Washington. I do think Washington and OKC both need new head coaches....both are complete garbage.

Sad to see Anthony Mason pass away at age 48. Way too young. Will never forget his huge role on the 94 Knicks that made the NBA Finals. MSG was electric that year and he was loved in NY. RIP.

I just think he is big city like LA or NY bound. I don't think a Wizards team with him, Wall, Beal, and Gortat would beat a team like the Warriors and it is not a destination that has historically attracted anyone besides Jordan.

Gilbert should consider himself lucky that Crittenton didn't blow his head off.

Crittenton and Arenas are obviously a couple Raider fans. What hoodlums.

another thing about Towns..he kinda reminds me of Bynum..baby Bynum. like before Bynum was 295lbs with two bad knees. 2007 Bynum. even though 2007 Bynum was still way stronger than Towns is now..that Bynum had a couple years of NBA strength and conditioning under his belt, so that's to be expected. maybe Towns will be a Godsend for us..seeing as how we were robbed of a Bynum era by Kobe and Lamar ( both crashing into his knees ).

even after the doctor declared Bynum's knees to be degenerative ( again, after Kobe and Lamar took him out in consecutive seasons) you still had some Laker fans who didn't want to give him up for Dwight..which was ridiculous because look at Bynum now..out of the league. but yeah..we are owed another home grown big man if you ask me. the crazy thing is Towns went to the same high school that Bynum went to. St. Joseph in Jersey. the Lakers should be in the Bynum era right now..in 2007 he was well on his way to becoming a center that you DO NOT trade for Dwight Howard..and then disaster. the following is the game before Kobe crashed into his knees..

pretty good draft pick by Jim Buss there..and 10th overall to boot. wiped the floor with 2005 #1 overall pick Bogut not even 3 years later. Jim doesn't get a lot of cred for that pick, though.

Anthony Mason was one of my favorite players in the NBA growing up. That whole Knicks team had something about them and I was just a fan. Much love to you Anthony.
