Lennox aged like a fine wine in the sport. His pure talent was just too much to deal with early in his career, when many would say he was in his prime, but he got better as he aged and for me his prime as a boxer began a little later on.

As a 23-28 year old guy he was just bruising the hell out of guys and those couple guys that KO'd him..he came back and beat the living hell out of them the next fight to the point where one man stayed in the corner and cried..literally. Lol He refused to come out.

Lennox was literally a MENACE as a younger boxer. He settled down once he got into his late 20's/early 30's and really polished his skill level and then he became somebody who fight fans grew frustrated with because he didn't always open up and beat the hell out of people anymore..he was kinda damned if he did/damned if he didn't in his career. As he got older he just kinda cruised until he saw an angle or felt threatened..he was that much more talented than everybody else when he put it all together.

I like the older Lewis a lot more..he became " The Pugilist Specialist " at that point. But it was still fun watching young Lennox come out and chase guys around because it'd literally look like they were running from him at times. Lol A huge guy with real athleticism. I once asked the great Bert Suger ( RIP) on a radio show who he thought would give prime Ali the best fight and he said a 30-31yr old Lennox Lewis. Judges have been robbing guys for years ( sport's been dirty for ages)..I still remember the draw they called when Lewis beat the brakes off Holyfield..but it was Holyfield's unrelenting style that even kept him in the fight. To say that heavyweights suck nowadays would be an understatement..and there's so much more money to make..shame.

to be fair, lennox did avenge each of his losses... convincingly
and he suffered from not having great competition at heavyweight during his era [a la larry holmes]
so for me to blame him for that is unfair
after all, he did what's expected of all great fighters -- he beat whoever they put in front of him
and certainly not his fault that bowe refused to fight him
just thought he had some defensive flaws that better heavyweights could have gotten through
but i like lennox and respect him for not staying in the game past his prime

    Brandon Marshall to the Jets.

the way this usually plays out is Cutler and Marshall end up playing together again, so i guess house money is on Cutler eventually ending up with the Jets at some point soon. Lol

I still want Cooper over White, White maybe slightly higher ceiling, but definitely a lower floor too.

Williams somehow falls to us, you take him, but Cooper I like too.

for Williams to fall we probably need Philly to move up to the Titans' spot for Mariota and for JAX to land Suh. If JAX lands Suh maybe they may pass on Williams and go with help for Bortles..

wouldn't be unbelievable if Tennessee took Mariota themselves... I'm not sure Williams to Jacksonville would be a lock.

.@AdamSchefter tells @AdamSchein that he expects #Raiders to prioritize Randall Cobb & Julius Thomas over Ndamukong Suh in free agency

I think 1st big FA to sign will be Randall Cobb. My guess is it will be with either Jaguars or Raiders.

Sounds like #Jaguars will miss on DeMarco Murray, Ndamukong Suh & Randall Cobb. Which means someone down the line stands to get WAY overpaid

Cobb looking like a good bet for the Raiders. Perhaps they prioritize Cobb and Thomas over Suh because they have Pot Roast Knighton lined up...

Will suck if Cobb leaves the Pack. Ultimately, Cobb is not going to be as good as he is now in GB and is going to get overpaid.

Cobb will not be a bust like Javon Walker but he will miss Rodgers and the Pack.

Cobb is staying with the Packers, 4 years, 40 million, he turned down higher offers.

Raiders can now lock in their first round pick, White or Coop.

I think it's a smart move for Cobb. He's only 24 so he has another payday coming ( barring injury), so it's good for him to stay with Rodgers and keep putting up big numbers. Raiders offered 11.5
