    This is pretty funny.

    http://espn.go.com/mlb/story/_/id/1...chards-los-angeles-angels-invoice-broken-bats

Adrian Beltre sends Garrett Richards an invoice for broken bats

Adrian Beltre had a rough night at the plate Friday against Anaheim Angels right-hander Garrett Richards, but the Texas Rangers third baseman got the last laugh.

Beltre broke his bat three times against Garrett Richards on Friday.

Beltre went 0-for-3 against Richards in Texas' 3-2 loss, breaking his bat in all three at-bats, but Beltre got even by sending the pitcher an invoice for $300 for the splintered lumber.

The invoice looked legit, inscribed with "Cash only, no checks" and Beltre's signature, according to The Orange County Register.

"I always love facing him," Richards said, according to the newspaper. "We have that good battle every time."

Richards responded to Beltre's ruse by sending him an autographed batting-practice bat. Richards wrote on it that he hoped it would repay his debt.

Beltre grounded out to second base in the top of the second inning, popped out to shortstop in the third and grounded into a 4-6-3 double play to end the sixth.

Richards pitched seven strong innings to earn the win, allowing two runs on three hits and three walks and striking out five.

to be fair, that incident was all molina
i credit agon for sticking up for puig, essentially saying "enough"
would have had no problem with molina arguing back, but to spazz out and act like a douche... fuck him

    as for wainwright
gotta give credit where credit's due
he was no only a peacemaker, but he actually went and sought out puig to apologize
    i don't like wainwright because he's a cardinal, but i don't like molina because he's a ckunt

100% agree that Molina was the ckunt in that altercation. He actually could've/should've been ejected from the game for physically pushing the umpire out of his way to get to Adrian. Bkitch needs to relax.

we still can't turn away from the HBP, though. Wainwright threw that ball..he was fully aware of the history. i wouldn't expect Wainwright to go crazy like Molina there ( for more than 1 reason), but mainly because it was the 3rd inning and he's their ace. he can't go putting himself in position to get tossed. Molina was a dick..like BM said, he should've been tossed. but they planned to plunk Puig. no doubt. and that ball was high..so fuck that shit.

Oh boy the world of Baseball... This is how great of a sport we get to watch almost every day.. If one team plunks the other it is just flat out war not thinking and seeing that both parties are coming into a agreement that it wasn't one on purpose. As fans we see what we want to see especially when it comes to our teams.

Players get in the heat of the moment and I guess we do as well. We can all go back and forth about which players did what and cus about it but if there is one thing that I can say. There is nothing better then Cardinals v's Dodgers during season or playoffs!!

How about Scherzer getting hurt while hitting, and whining that the DH needs to be used in the NL.

Grow a set Max, learn how to hold a fucking bat, and try to help your team.

I thought you were exaggerating until I looked it up. I don't care how well Scherzer pitches, I'm glad we didn't sign this puss - there's no need for players like this in the NL.

    1) If you don't want to hit don't sign in the NL, dick.
    2) Don't make assumptious statements about what fans want to see. A lot of fans want pitchers to hit. Pitchers need to be men and face what they dish out.

I'm getting tired of whinny a$$ players!!!! Scherzer wanted to throw Wainwright into the talk.. This is known as the Senior Circuit for a reason.. Don't like it sign with a AL team.

Trust me there was enough ammo outside of those deals to talk shit about Nud.

Brandon League. Juan Pierre. Matt Guerrier. The recent Ethier extension.
