this murderous team made the Finals.

 

Damn, I just realized that the Lakers have 3 picks in the top 34 picks of the draft. That is awesome.

 

Yes it's pretty exciting but don't get used to it, next year we only have a 2nd round pick.

 

may end up trading one or two of them, but they might be able to get a guy with a 1st round grade at #34

 

next year's 1st rounder is Top 3 protected..basically, it'll have to be another really rough season to get that one.

 

Or probably just draft and stash a Euro guy. Mitch doesn't want 3 rookies + Randle on his team.

Historically (primarily within the last 5-10 years) you ain't finding shit after top 10.

Solid players perhaps but even that's tough. You'll be lucky to come away with a decent player let alone a quality starter. All star is almost out the question in late first /early second

i feel like they're about to go crazy in free agency over the next 2 years, though. they could have 70M+ in cap space in 2016 and by rule they have to spend to the floor, so it's a must that they go out and grab high caliber guys and that's before considering what Kupchak was getting at when he said they don't have time to " build through the draft "..they have TV deal obligations. gotta put a nice product on the floor for the viewers. i fully expect them to try to extract one of OKC's all-stars during this draft. i'm not in love with it, but i think the Westbrook/Love rumors have some traction.

 

Cap is going up too.

 

Whatever it is, it's better than the amount of picks we've previously had. I'm stoked.

yeah, that's what i mean..Lakers could have 70M+ in cap space because of the cap rising. depends on what they do with Nick Young and that kinda stuff. i fully expect Young to get dealt this off-season..they might actually have to tie a draft pick around his neck to get someone to take his fool ass.

The only reason they got arrested is because the U.S. didnt bribe them enough and now they are after them. These guys are corrupt as fuck and everyone has known this for a long time. This is a witch hunt, but it is being done by thieves themselves.
