So if we lose it's all Seager's fault since we been winning without him. amirite.

Just read this from a Dodger fan:

How is Seager a good prospect when he just made the 40 man roster?

    :bored:

Or people who think we lost the Grandal-Kemp trade because of RBIs.

Very good debut obviously. Too bad a win wasn't attached to it. I liked the way he responded after getting caught looking at that inside strike and then took the same pitch to right for the single.

Seager the 1st LAD rookie to have at least 2 hits, 2RBIs, and 2 runs scored in his debut since 1958/Frank Howard.

    per keith law/espn...
    • At 6-foot-4, Seager is already the second-tallest shortstop in major league history, after Mike Morse -- I'll bet you don't remember Morse as a shortstop, probably because the human brain has the ability to block out traumatic memories. Seager won't be at the position for long, but he's a better option for the next few weeks than Jimmy Rollins. Seager can also slide to third when Rollins returns, with Turner and/or Peraza filling in at second. Seager has an outstanding swing, a very good eye at the plate and rapidly developing power, more than enough ability to outproduce the negative value Rollins' bat has generated this season.

Quief Law just won't give it up. Dodger coaches, farm instructors etc all are adamant about him playing SS. But you know huh Keith? Comparing him to a POS like Morse? I don't get it. Then again, I usually don't. Just a fan.

Hey @chrisdodgers what specifically makes Seager a cross between those two particular players?

They may be changing their tune since there is no Olivera anymore. I love what JT has given us the last couple of years, even though he's coming down to earth a little lately but is he our long term solution at 3rd, no. Is there a stud 3rd baseman right now in our farm that I am missing out there? Plus you can't ignore the fact that he played some 3rd in the minors. For me as long as he stays everything else will fall into place.

I think he was mainly just comparing height. I read something yesterday that said Seager tied a MLB record for the tallest shortstop ever at 6'4". I hope the Dodgers leave him there strictly because it's a more premium position, but it sounds like his tools will be above average at third also.
