That's interesting. I don't know these rankings work, or if they would be able to add a player at this late date, in relation to the rankings release.

I just wonder if they will leave him in there with his TJ surgery and the Dodgers being pretty loaded with interchangeable talent basically nearing 20. I think Anderson is gonna see a drop, doesn't seem like he is a viable SP anymore and with the talent around him, could get the drop for being a RP.

Don't know jack about the minors, I admit...so I depend on others for info regarding kids we might have that could change our fortunes.
I wonder if the number rankings prove to be "accurate" and a proper gauge overall to reflect individual talent/performance when they have gotten to the Show? More often than not?
    Anyone?

9 out of 10 with the bottom half being a bit messed up. That is crazy that Bellinger moved that far up and that should not be a shot at Holmes either. Could have 6+ players in the top 100 going into the coming season... even more if they can nab one of the last big Cuban kids. I know there are those that don't care about such things, but that gives the team loads of talent to deal from.

And the top 10 would still look pretty good without Seager, Peraza, and Cotton in it.
Taking Cotton off because he's pretty close by most reports.
Diaz, Hansen, and Heredia could slot in for those 3

It will be interesting to see that list in a year with all of these Int'l signings and so many kids on the cusp of helping.

Are the Dodgers ready for the Corey Seager era? Is Seager?
by Steve Dilbeck | Los Angeles Times — 90 minutes ago

    The can’t-miss kid.

No pressure there. No lofty, next-to-impossible expectations. Just go be a superstar.

But that’s pretty much where the Dodgers are with phenom Corey Seager, who did little to discourage the hyperbole when he was called up last September and unexpectedly beat out veteran shortstop Jimmy Rollins.

Seager, all of 21, has been the Dodgers’ No. 1 prospect for the last two seasons. The Dodgers’ first-round pick in 2012, he was having a very good, if unspectacular, season at triple-A (.278, .332, .451) when called up.

And then he got off to an absolutely monster start that had everybody feeling really good about all those expectations.

Rollins, 37, is now a free agent and is not expected back. Shortstop is now the possession of Seager, a 6-foot-4 North Carolina native with a smooth swing who is now the new leader of a coming youth movement.

There is risk with this undertaking, but the Dodgers have to be feeling very comfortable with the decision. Certainly Seager’s first 17 games did nothing to belie the budding enthusiasm. His youth hardly appeared to leave him overwhelmed in his first trip to the majors. In his first 17 games, he put up a stunning .377/.479/.607 slash line.

But the young tend to have their ups-and-downs, and Seager did not exactly finish with the same flurry. In his last 10 games, he had a .270/.325/.486 line. In the playoffs, he went three for 16 (.188/.235/.250) with a bloop double.

Pitchers, naturally, will try to find flaws in his swing and attack them. Seager will, also naturally, have to make adjustments. Nothing is guaranteed but Seager is bright and has a calmness about him that bodes well for his future.

The Dodgers have said they need to get younger, and it begins with Seager and the reclamation project of returning Joc Pederson to his first-half success.

But the kids are coming, which team President Stan Kasten said was the long-term plan. If Seager is as successful as expected, he should prove a centerpiece for the Dodgers for many years to come.

That was my initial thought as well, huge leap and now he becomes untouchable with A-Gon getting on in age.

have to wait and see how he handles the higher levels
30/103 .264/.336/.538 looks good at first glance
but we're still talking about high a-ball pitchers
also 150 K's in 478 at bats is not good...

Badler was really impressed by Bellinger and even though he had a lot of K's, he felt it was because of him adjusting to his new batting style and would cut down on the strike outs when he gets more comfortable.

In Badler's chat today, he thinks the Dodgers have at least 7, Top 100 prospects with multiple others getting votes. A lot of the Int'l guys may need to be seen more in the states before getting recognition. Also, there is potential for more additions as the other top Int'l pitching prospect is still out there(Vladimir Gutierrez) and the Dodgers are rumored to be interested. Though I do not see him falling into the teams top 10 as it is now pretty stacked and scouts are weary to give high praise of young Int'l guys before they play in the states.
