Well, the Mets did their part. Cards seem to be on their way. Got to get the Rockies to start hitting....amd we're golden. Dbags were toast, but what do you expect from a team that puts a pool in the outfield and fills it with hairy, fat, business folks who don't give a damn about baseball. Oh wait....that almost describes the Gnats stadium.
Typical 1st game of a road trip game, more often than not we are flat. Ugh!! Good job SO FAR by Alex Wood in relief.
stopped watching the game about midway through had it on in the background but i already knew our fate no fire or passion can't afford that shit gotta be firing on all cylinders come next friday
Starters seem to attack his weakness while relievers play into his strengths. Righties bust him in with those back foot breaking pitches and when they see him chase early, it's like watching a replay the rest of the game when they continue to go back to it over and over. Relievers tend to try to beat him with fastballs and he generally hits those well, plus crushes any mistake pitches.
