    Or he didn't care to risk injury when his own idiot teammate started it. Posey's had concussions issues in the past.

    Yeah, I've never had a bad thing to say about Posey. He's the most likeable guy on the team I hate. But did he puss out or what? How does he face his teammates once they get a look at the replays.

    None of them would ever admit it, but I'll bet the majority didn't approve of Strickland dotting Harper. It was a selfish, childish move.

    If the Giants were so offended by Harper in 2014 they would have done something about it before today.

    True, but I've never seen a catcher leave his pitcher hanging like that. Pretty much EVERYONE else got there before Posey did, and even then he just stood on the perimeter.

    Maybe Posey figured Strickland could handle himself.
    Either way, Harper's ultimately getting the last laugh..about to cash out for 350M+ in a year and half

    As a Dodgers fan I find it hard to have sympathy for any player on another team who who misses 6-8 weeks. That sounds like nothing.

    Strickland' move was purely bush league. Now it puts whatever offense the Gnats have left vulnerable to getting hit. That's you Posey primarily.

    Stupid. What you get for having a dick so small not even the Gnats will take a bite.

    Our best lineup going forward right now is...

    CF: Taylor
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    LF: Bellinger
    C : Grandal
    1B: Gonzales or Utley (whichever veteran is playing better)
    2B: Forsythe
    RF: Puig

    Against lefties...

    CF: Taylor
    SS: Seager
    3B: Turner
    1B: Bellinger
    2B: Forsythe
    LF: Gutierrez or Eibner (only keep one or the other on the roster)
    C : Barnes
    RF: Kike

    With Joc on the bench and Taylor handling CF the lineups become very consistent. And a lot more productive both against righties and lefties.
    We are no longer so suspect against lefties. And our worst hitter is Puig who is our #8 hitter. Puig as your #8 is actually not that bad. Considering that he is posting a really nice slash line vs righties. Lefties are killing him so bench him for Kike or move Bellinger to RF vs lefties and put Forsythe at 1B and Kike at 2B or whatever.
    A bench of Kike, Joc, Barnes, Utley, and Gutierrez/Eibner works pretty well. We have a strong lineup and we still have some bullets in the chamber in case of injuries.

    I'd say our lineup is pretty good however you stack it up. A product of all the DL issues we've had thus far.

    But I'm still looking for that WS type SP lineup. Maybe this is the year.

    I don't feel bad for Trout nor the Angels, I feel like I'm being cheated out of 2 months of the greatest baseball player I will ever witness.

    but i have no problem with what he did
    in fact i applaud it
    and i'm sure his teammates admire him even more, as well they should
