i hope not but once a junkie always most of the time and he is not even a fully developed adult so who knows he was going through a nasty divorce just a huge hole in the sound of the band
Rumor: Mudiay, Wilson Chandler and Fareid to Indy, Love to Denver, George to Cleveland..I´ll believe that shit when I see it. That´s just too much comp for Kevin Love..if that were the offer, the deal would already be completed. LAL reportedly remains in pursuit of George tho Looks like nobody out there cares for Clarkson, makes sense..productive for a 2nd rounder, sure, but ultimately an inefficient ball stopper that doesn´t defend worth a damn. Indy turning it´s nose up at Clarkson..already has Monta Ellis for that role. Lol So Randle´s going to be the piece more than likely..confirmed that LAL doesn´t wanna pay him, confirmed that the league is split on his potential so there´s still enough teams out there that believe in him, enough to make a move for him and pay him next year. If I´m LAL I don´t mind keeping Randle around and shopping him at the deadline, he´s had a hell of an off-season, looks to be in great shape and who knows what kind of spike in numbers he´ll see with Lonzo running point. That said, I still doubt Indy will keep George into the reg-season or even pre-season, so LAL is probably peddling Randle hard AF right now to get it done come free agency/July
I can't believe these motherfucking retard motherfuckers traded DRussell... let alone in a fucking salary dump Go fuck yourself
Seemed pretty good to me, but then again I felt Lonzo and Russell together would´ve been the worst defensive backcourt in the league. LAL got the best player in the trade and an athletic stretch 4 that can defend in the draft..maybe it´ll feel better to you if they dump Deng and re-sign Lopez into that space after next season
Who gives a shit if Lopez is good? He's gone in 12 months in the meantime giving up on your best young player. Congrats Lakers, you played yourselves. And all this clearing cap space to sign multiple stars next year... AHAHAHAHAHA
That's not a certainty. Ingram's better than Russell. Lakers couldn't get more than what they got for Russell because teams like NY and Dallas would rather go with Dennis Smith Jr. and Ntilikina over him. Meanwhile, pretty much every team LAL had talked in trade discussions had been asking for Ingram or this year's #2 pick. Don't overthink it, Russell shot 40% from the field, played no D, made lazy passes, struggled to get the ball up the floor against solid defensive PGs and didn't offer a whole lot of upside athletically. He had some nice ice in the veins moments and solid 2 week runs, but the Lonzo/Russell backcourt was not the play
Lopez is a leader. I have a feeling he may stay with the Lakers if we pick up some other vets. In fact Lopez as the third option on a team makes for a pretty strong team.
So then trading Russell magically got us LeBron... what is your complaint? Do you think trading young Russell for old LeBron is a bad move?
Not even then If LAL gets rid of Deng by trade or stretch/waive, they'll have enough to offer Lopez and still cop LeBron
I'd imagine if LeBron comes, PG13 is coming right behind him, if not already traded for. Deng would be gone, like you said. Can brook fit in then?
Ideal scenario is Deng gone, Clarkson gone, our cap space only committed to Ingram, Ball, Nance, Zubac, 3 other draft picks and have Pg13's 22 million cap hold. That would set us up with the most $$ to play with
A few different scenarios, but ultimately Deng doesn't have to go either. Clarkson could be the guy that gets moved, opens up another significant chunk of cap space. Or both get moved/stretched and waived. All told, LAL could have more than the reported 60M in space
