On Sunday’s game, his “fastball” was in the 92-93 mph range. That shocked and worried me.

Not enough to fool good hitters. Fast enough to launch out of the park.

Assuming his other pitches have slowed by several ticks, no wonder the second time around, it’s butt clinching time.

    Somebody educate me...

MLBN is making a big deal about the Braves not having Dansby Swanson in the lineup for the LDS. He has a .238 BA, .304 OBP (!) and a .395 SLG (!!!). Even with 14 HRs a .395 slugging!?

Does he play every defensive position at once? This guy looks like he sucks to me.

I don't know... I get a little uneasy when I hear too many people in the media calling for the Dodgers to dispatch ATL quickly. Just like we should have with the Marlins, Reds, and Mets, huh? I hope the players and Roberts aren't paying too much attention to all that talk.

I know Anibal Sanchez was good this year but if the Dodgers can't win Game 2 when it's Kershaw vs. 2018 Anibal Sanchez, I'll cry

His avg velocity is down an almost full two ticks from last season and he has completely ditched his change. Now is a time where he needs to get more deceptive, not more predictable. The more I look at it, the more I think there is no chance he opts out. Only way he does now is if he goes all Bumgarner this postseason.

The Dodgers are selling priced-to-move tickets to tomorrow's NLDS opener via StubHub. At this moment, there are more than 700 available for $30 or less.

Our fan base is weird. Not selling out a home playoff game is inexcusable. Just checked stubhub and yeah...it's going to look empty.

I started watching Baseball in 2011, and although there probably was greater moments, this was my personal favorite memory. I couldnt believe my eyes. Juan Uribe of all people. Loved it.

Officially nervous. I felt confident the past days and now I’m scared of the offense getting no hit. Is it 5:30 yet

I think it’ll fill up but idk. It’s expensive to go to a NLDS game and I feel, just personally speaking, there’s this idea of “if I’m gonna spend that money, I wanna try and save up for a possible NLCS or WS game”

I know a few people thinking this way haha. But we’ll see.

I get it, but in a metro area of 15 million people, 55,000 should be able to get up and support the team.
If they think an NLDS game is too expensive ($20 for top deck, $80 for loge, $150-$200 for field level...which are all "Great" value on Seat Geek), there's no way that 'savings' gets them in the door at a WS game. Comparable tickets to mine from last years WS are going for over $3,000 on the secondary market.

So I happen to be in LA for my (2nd) engagement party on the weekend of Oct 26-28th. The NL will be hosting their 3 games in the WS on October 26, 27th and 28th. I still have very little faith that this team can put it all together and get that far, but who knows.

This is a series the Dodgers should absolutely win, but it has a Mets 2015 feel to me. Young team that shouldn’t really be here and if they eeck out a win in LA, they probably pull it out. Easiest route to the WS since that season, which is why I think something stupid is going to happen.
