Well done #22. Hardly laid a glove on him after the first pitch of the game. Hated the move to pull him. Fuck 2018 baseball.

Like to see a little more of the hitters, but up 2-0 in a 5 game series will work.

Manny and Grandal have had two good swings between them in two games, but they made them count.

Alanna almost asked a really annoying question to Clayton but saved herself in the end

It's a pretty good show when they keep Karros, Swisher, and Dontrelle Willis off of it

Man, I would love for Buehler to really step up on Sunday and send this thing back to LA. Rested bullpen and our best pitcher on the mound, let's fucking roll!

The sooner we can get this done, the better. I just wish Colorado would extend Milwaukee a bit but whatever.

What an amazing first two games.

So far, we look like the team to beat in the NL. A lot can change, but I'm not impressed with the Brewers so far.

This is our easiest path to the World Series since before the nlds even existed
    Which means we will choke

Looking ahead, Gausman had a lot of talk about him after the trade deadline as maybe he was finally breaking out, but came back down to earth his final 4 appearances. For being in a shitty division, the Braves are surprisingly mediocre at home where they had a 43-38 record. Their new stadium can be a bit homer happy and it has taken a toll on some of their pitchers. Buehler avoiding the deep ball will be huge and hopefully he can continue to induce a lot more soft contact. The Braves look overwhelmed, time to go for the jugular and end this fucking thing.

But is it though? ATL had the 2nd highest batting average and 5th most runs in the NL, and won, what, 91 games? Maybe not a powerhouse but not a pushover either. I don't think they're easy... I think our pitching has been exceptional.

I mean in comparison to the Cardinals, the 08-09 Phillies, the DeGrom/Thor Mets, Cubs, etc.
ATL and MIL seem like the easiest path we've ever had.

Just gonna add as I look over the lines from last years NLDS. Getting this depth from our starting rotation has been a breath of fresh air(Hill went 4 in gm 2 last year). Nobody in that pen is overworked, nor have they been this season. One thing that I think could happen in game 3 is if the Dodgers get out to a 4+ run lead, even if he is dealing I could see them pulling Buehler after something like 5 innings. If they’re going to win the WS, he’ll be the difference maker we didn’t have last year(Ryu is like 1B here) and they’re going to need him to be as fresh as possible. I would love to see them jump all over Gausman and make this happen... then the Brewers Rockies go 5 and the Brewers pen logs about 97 innings.

lol Buehler shutting down poor reporters asking about his relationship with Dansby Swanson.

"In all honesty, man, I don't really see any point to talk about it. He's wearing an Atlanta Braves jersey. I hang out with him in the offseason and that's fine but we're in the playoffs so I don't really care"
In the coldest of tones haha

I like the competitiveness though. Not an "old-fashioned" guy, but it does get tiring seeing players on the opposite team blow each other before games these days.

I think ‘15 when we lost to the Mets was the easiest route. That team was Cespedes(who we mostly handled), a white hot Daniel Murphy, DeGrom and Thor. We were just a weaker all around team then we are now. That was the easiest route imo, as after the Mets it was a Cubs team that was very similar to this Braves team and the fucking Royals.

This is definitely close as it is 3 very inexperienced teams in the NL with the top team having like 1 starter, but that team has a ton of weapons on offense that you need to worry about. Just keep hoping the Rox push back a bit cause their bullpen being a little taxed is gonna be key.

2015 was a weird year. Very forgettable. You're right, though. If we handled the Mets that year, we most likely beat the Cubs who were still a year away from putting it all together.

My hope for Kershaw is he wins a couple WS rings, has some signature performances, and lowers his postseason ERA to somewhere around 3.40 before he retires. In a Dodger uniform of course. Not for the Rangers.

It was the first year of the nerds, was like the last year of good AGon and we had no starting pitching outside of Kershaw and Greinke. Anderson had slipped down the stretch, McCarthy blew out his elbow in game 4, Ryu never played, Wood got hurt and our pen wasn’t good enough to piecemail a win together. It’s when Corey exploded on the scene, but got completely exposed. So fucking annoying, the whole AL was in tank mode and the Royals were very beatable. New FO also didn’t have any pieces to make big trades with.
