So you would rather that the Dodgers fail to prove you right, rather than win it all to prove many of us wrong?

I never care about being right. If I did, I'd never speak

Looking back at our playoff and WS losses, to me, the key issue has been pitching.

Yes, clutch hits have been a problem (RISPs in crucial situations for example), but scoring runs may have been less a problem than SP and closing.

You either make up for that with a huge offensive output, or you get shut down pitching in playoff situations.

I’m not sure the FO has addressed any of those issues in a big way. Okay, you don’t have to spend big on offense. Then maybe try to help with SP and back end pitching. You signed only one RP and an oft injured OF.

    Is that it?

He’s being hyperbolic, but his point that leading the league in attendance every year in spite of not being able to watch the team on TV, and losing back to back World Series and then not even pretending to be interested in top free agents is fucking insulting and they do deserve this to backfire. Unfortunately yeah it’s cutting off our nose to spite our face.

I especially like the Caleb Ferguson plans...kid 's got big cajones, and Honeycutt can develop his talents to the max.
A valuable sleeper, imo. A tough mofo.
For his age, I feel a lot of confidence when he comes in...lots more than other members of the bp, that's for sure.

It was always weird to me how he really did dominate his way through the minors and got little to no love most of the way. The folks that really liked him were usually Dodgers followers. He needs to go to AAA to throw a change and slider to every batter and if he gets pummeled the first month or two, so be it. Just get a comfort level with that pitch cause with his upped velo/spin rate, he could he a dangerous weapon with two + pitches and maybe 2 average pitches.

A few of the Dodgers have cut dairy out of their diet. Utley started the trend when he joined the club and Hernandez was the first to follow him with his breakout 2018 pushing more Dodgers to do it. Seager did it over the winter, got himself all cut up and he says he feels better than he has in years(supposedly looks the part too). Muncy also started doing it before camp started and is said to be feeling and looking better. Him getting more agility would be huge if it meant he could move to 2B.

Kershaw reported that he isn't feeling right while on his throwing program! This is not good.

Marwin Gonzales to the Twinkies, 2/21. Always thought he'd be a good fit here.

    hate to say it
but i fear this is what we can expect from kershaw going forward through the end of his contract
love his passion, determination and work ethic
but his best days [and velocity] are behind him
he just doesn't realize it yet
he can still be a serviceable starter
he's just not that dominating ace he once was, nor will he ever be again

Fucking brutal... dude was supposed to be looking excellent after the offseason training regiment and then potentially fucks it all up the 3rd time on the hill in spring training. Him and the team being super secret about it only makes it look much much worse.

Time to make Behuler the Ace, mover Kershaw to #2. Might even entertain moving him back to #3 and pushing Maeda up to #2. Hopefully Urias can take over for Kershaw mid season when he hits the DL.
