I meant them getting Harper, not winning the ship next year. I think he goes there and he is going to regret it pretty quickly.

 

As far as I'm concerned, the only real question now is what number will Bryce wear? Does he go with 34? He could flip it and go with 43? If Mantle is his favorite player of all time, and he wants to get paid like he's Mantle-elite, why not go all in with 7? And bump our boy, Urias, to 34? Man, this is too confusing... just go with 34.

 

Forgot 34 hasn't been worn since Fernando.
But it's not retired so I think they should let him wear it. It's Bryce Harper, not Jamie Carroll or something.

 

Lol Alrighty then. I kinda want to see the nose of the ball cross the goal line first, but for the fuck of it..I like him in #34.

Then again, LAD is looking for World Series win #7, so maybe #7 would suit Harp

Julio Urias' fastball sat 94-97 in his one inning of work today. Oh hell yeah..... Just a reminder, he generally worked 90-91 at the start of his first inning of work last season and saw the FB slowly tick up from there. He only had two games last year where he average 94 MPH on the FB and his fastest pitch topped out at 95 all of 2018. This is a REALLY good sign.
