Muncy has shown everything... to us.
To the rest of the league they have just seen him a few times. Other execs don't have a book on him like they do on Joc.
They know what Joc is.
He is a power hitting guy who gets on base and can play anywhere in the OF.
Other teams salivate for Joc Pederson.
And he's a white guy too!
Even if he never learns to hit lefties.
But on many teams they would live with him struggling vs lefties a couple more years so he can get experience and confidence vs them enough to be decent.
Execs don't know if Verdugo will ever hit 20 HR's in a full season.
He is nice, he has an arm but has had a history of attitude issues.
I listened to him very recently in an interview and I thought he was great.
But knowing most of yall Dodgers fans many would say he has an attitude or is cocky.
For other FO guys Verdugo is a huge risk while Joc is a sure thing.
And Max Muncy is an enigma who they just have not seen enough of to know if he is for real.
Did he get lucky, did he take steroids, did he do something new that pitchers eventually learned how to stop in the second half?
Or did he just finally grow into his body and tapped into his massive natural power that combined with his plate discipline that comes from years of having to be a patient hitter due to his scrub level talent make him a rich mans Adam Dunn?
And that the reason he had issues in the second half was because his manager is Dave.

no mlb pt yet, but as you alluded not his fault
saw that interview too... and, like you, i liked what i saw
others may view him as cocky/arrogant, but i loved his confidence and enthusiasm
hopefully he gets a decent look this year

i like joc
but he's one of those streaky platoon guys that can disappear for weeks at a time
could get better against lhp if he played every day...
but that's not going to happen here, and he'd kill you in the meantime

What also is true that getting worked up over your woman going into your phone is retarded.
If she decides to fuck with your phone/privacy its a foul on her.
You have the right to make any decision/judgement against her you want going forward.
But getting worked up much less verbal or physically abusive is retarded.
If its a 'privacy' thing then you are being retarded.
If its not any of that then its because you have something you dont want her to see.
And thats your fault.
If its not that and it truly is a zeal to the defense of your right to privacy then again we are back to me thinking that it is retarded to both rely on it to work and retarded to cause a scene over losing it.
