I have the same problem when Kershaw pitches in the playoffs.

I'm pretty much the only person in my family without high blood pressure until October.

The new hitting instruction department is going to be an interesting topic this season. It sounds like a large number of regulars and prospects spent the winter in LA working on improving their swings. DJ Peters was already noted, but there was another much more in depth article about it from MLB Pipeline. Here is another one, now about Hernandez saying that he still wasn't happy with the results last year even after the breakout season and solid K rate, so he worked with the hitting coaches Monday-Friday. Hernandez has had a huge spring, but he has done that before so my excitement is tempered at the moment, but it is great to hear that he is continuing to perfect his craft. This probably won't work for everyone, I think Goldschmidt was not a fan of these guys, but they have a strong track record of turning guys into some major assets so it will be fun to watch.

MiLB game. Supposed to be looking pretty good, but expect some rust and a DL stint before the end of May(just to give him a breather at least). He ripped one into the gap off of Buehler today.

Buehler will throw in a game Monday or Tuesday.

I had a dream Puig went 3 for 3 against Ryu...5 RBIs. Then I banged Jessica Biel, Jessica Chastain, Jessica Alba, and King Kong Jessica Lange.
    It seemed so real.

Bryce Harper left today's game and is getting X-Rays after taking a pitch off what looked like his ankle by a 96 MPH fastball. He was down for a little bit after getting hit and showing to be in a lot of pain. With his history of leg injuries, this is one of those moments where you really hold your breath.

For as much as Yasiel Puig [says he still] loves Los Angeles, he clearly feels somewhat embittered about parting with his old team. “It’s their problem,” he says of the Dodgers’ decision to move him. “I don't know what they did with that trade, because they didn't get anyone who could help them the way I could. But that's business.”

Amazing that the guy who is known as the dunce, blockhead, etc., presents up a pure icy bit of logic when he asks why trade him away for guys that can no way help them as much as he could.
    Must be the depth/future thing.
But for a team that has a failure rate such as the Dodgers, and let's get real, the run could easily end without opportunity knocking again, it does seem like Yasiel Spock is positively Vulcan in logic here, imo.

I was a big Puig fan. But from what I've heard he was not a good clubhouse guy. I'm not sure exactly what that means but he (and Wood and Kemp) weren't the best team first guys. The guys we received from Cincinnati won't be of any immediate help, but could be down the road. Especially Jeter Downs. Personally I'd rather still have Puig, but maybe it's better for the team and him that he's gone.
