    Good bytes huh?.
DeFoe has become a superb actor.
I thought Anthony Quinn's son might have a career behind this, but I don't recall seeing him again.

The Dodgers announced May 31 as their annual LGBT Night. Co-owner Billie Jean King will throw the ceremonial first pitch.

But we can't put together a bullpen

He had a heart attack about 8 years ago. He was in his late 40's.

Go sign Craig MotherFuckin' Kimbrel. Too many "what if's" in the pen. Spend money, not prospects for god's sake.

The team's luxury tax payroll is $200 million right now. The tax threshold is $206 million this year.

So basically, any significant signing will put us over the threshold, and that would cost us 20% for anything over. Honestly, going over the tax threshold is probably not a big deal considering 1) we are in a good place to reset it again in 2020 or 2021, and 2) we are going to have a tough time staying under the limit anyway if we want to make moves at the deadline.

As for Kimbrel, originally he was looking for a multi-year deal likely in the Kenley range of 5 years/$80 million, and at the very least he will want to beat the QO of $18 million for 1 year to save face. Being that he is still unsigned it seems likely he is holding out for that multi-year deal.

Personally, I don't want Kimbrel. On a 1-year deal, maybe. But I wouldn't be surprised if someone gets burned here.

I'm all for guys doing what's in their best interest and getting paid, but holding out past the beginning of the season is too much IMO. Clearly the leprechaun thinks more highly of himself than the market - no thanks.

It would put them over tax for sure at this point for 2019, but not beyond that. I think he is probably looking for 19-20M per year... which may never happen at this point. I would offer him 3 Yrs at $45M or $60M over 4 with an optional extra year on both. Load it with incentives for Holds, Appearances & Saves so it can easily take him higher. After this year, Jansen has 2 yrs left and I could see the club letting him walk at this rate. Give Kimbrel incentive to know he is protected if the club uses him earlier in games for the first couple of years.

I can't find it, but was it in here that someone joked about how many injuries the Yankees have had, but Tulo was still playing? Well... Tulo had to get taken to the hospital today for what they think was a calf strain. Yankees are in an early hole with the injuries, but for their sake at least the Sox seem to be recovering from a bit of a hangover.

It's delusional to think we have a shot in hell of landing Kimbrel. The reason he's sitting is because he wants more years/money, and there's no way we're going to offer either.

Kike, Joc and Bellinger about to be no longer thrown strikes. Anyone think these fkags will have the patience to lay off swings and take walks?
