But the ball went into his glove, it sure looked. I saw the slo- mo on it, and couldn't see any contact other than into the leather. It was a laser beam however, and maybe the impetus of the ball hitting the glove against his throwing hand was the problem. Maybe.
Can't help being suspicious about this though because so far, he's a lead balloon with his 18.00 ERA. Is the IL far away I wonder? A little stint to reexamin his present suckitude ?
The contest between Kelly and Yimi for highest ERA in the cosmos takes a hit...

On paper, this looks very nice.
But Ferris is unpredictable sometimes, and I hope that he's quit the " I'll hang 'em -- you bang 'em" club.

    1. Joc Pederson LF

    2. Corey Seager SS

    3. Justin Turner 3B

    4. Cody Bellinger 1B

    5. A.J. Pollock CF

    6. Max Muncy 2B

    7. Alex Verdugo RF

    8. Austin Barnes C

    9. Walker Buehler P

I like this lineup, get Enrique a rest and see how muncy handles 2B. I think Pollock should sit tomorrow, just for a breather, and to give Verdugo two starts in a row

Tough to see the token minority taken out of the lineup, but if Muncy can handle 2B once in a while, it creates more options for the azul

Buehler may be everything he is projected to be...confident, "ace stuff"...but batters sure take comfortable swings at those fastballs.

I’ve run out of horrible things to say about Baez. I can’t believe we’ve had to deal with him for this long.

Baez has a completely fucked up release point. It looks different every pitch.

Baez is DVR proof. No matter how far behind the live broadcast you are, you can't fast-forward through a full Pedro Baez inning. Horrible feeling being on 32X speed and he is still on the screen for 15 minutes.
