    Like Charlie.......love Mick Taylor.

Need to throw in a little of young Mick, too. Sympathy solo is chilling.

stones have been so good for so long that's it's hard to pick when they were at their best
probably in the minority, but my favorite album was some girls

oh yeah we've been over that and the stones don't have their greatest run without that collaboration imo
i just meant his nonchalant rolling his eyes and acting like he is being put out to be there. Wyman and Charlie always acted like they hated what they were doing lol

It crossed my mind for an instant, but I dismissed it immediately, and gave you mad credit for a well -crafted pun.
    But noooooooo...

Too hard to do.. and I love physics. Not realistic to assess a 'favorite' among Stones albums. Not fair at all.
I LOVE Some Girls and have an epic memory of a Hollywood Blvd hottie in spandex singing along.. Ok too much not allowed in the recall loop..

Upon a more thorough review how can one leave out Begger's Banquet with Symphony for the Devil?? OK the other tracks aren't as stellar but so what?
Let it Bleed is epic opening with Gimme Shelter and closing with You Can't Always Get What You Want with both Honky Tonk and Midnight Rambler in between. Anthems..
Sticky Fingers opens with Brown Sugar and offers Wild Horse and Bitch. Again epics.
I see Exile on Main St as solid music but no real epic songs
Same with Goats Head Soup which is a better album title than any of the songs
It's Only Rock and Roll offers the title song and If You Can't Rock Me both classics but otherwise average I suppose
Black and Blue - OK meh
Some Girls - Again Very Strong with When the Whip Comes Down, Just my Imagination, Far Away Eyes, Some Girls, Respectable, Beast of Burden and Shattered. Hmmm yeah that's going to be hard to top... and it isn't going to be.
Emotional Rescue had the title track and She's So Cold but otherwise meh
Tattoo You offers Start me Up, Little T&A and Waiting on a Friend but that's about all
Under Cover, Dirty Work and Steel Wheels, Voodoo Lounge, Bridges to Babylon were a long stretch of meh
Followed by the entirely forgettable A Bigger Bang and Blue and Lonesome which .. were the efforts of really old men so I don't really count them.

So some 300 words later... Some Girls hands down as #1 then Let It Bleed #2 and Sticky Fingers as #3
I thought at first it was just the fond memories biasing my recall but now I'm onboard with Some Girls although there is still sooooo much great music most off it was decades ago.

as a clearly unabashed stones freak i rank exile slightly ahead because of how pure it was and the fact that moment was cemented w the movie
ladies and gentlemen the rolling stones is one of the best for catching a band at its apex
i love some girls because of its attitude and swagger but mick taylor was gone and the music is good but far from their best
the assessment of its only rock and roll...um thats a great stones record and maybe you didn't hear fingerprint file, time waits for no one, luxury, if you really want to be my friend and short and curlies?
goats head soup? lol. dancing w mr d, coming down again, starfucker, heartbreaker? cmon man
checked out after start me up and so did they apparently
but all those albums you mentioned are kind of equally number 1's for me because it was their most creative period
i actually love black and blue as well memory motel, HEY negrita, crazy mama, hot stuff, melody and fool to cry imo are great stones songs but i know that album gets panned by every critic
lots of cocaine and heroin (with the president) involved in all of the above

Richard Cole (sp?), who was 103 years old, died today. He was the last surviving member of Doolittle's Raiders...he was Doolittle's co- pilot in his B- 25.
No aircraft were realistically ever expected to return from that mission, and it was known it would not cause that much damage in the overall scheme of WWII. But it proved we could bomb the Japanese homeland and also that bombers could take off from a carrier. And the message to Japan was loud and clear.
R I P hero Richard Cole, as you join your warrior brothers now.
They had unequaled balls, these guys.

Yeah, I am. Ever since I was a kid. I envy your dad.
I've gone through stages of favorites, WWII, early jets, experimentals, etc.
Currently and for quite a while, between the wars a/c is fascinating to me. Love those designs. Tri motors...awesome !

I saw this term recently, looked it up on urbandictionary.com and still have no idea what they are prattling on about.

So you identify with the body parts you were born with... and... as in WTF else ... just another way to slam straights?!?
    Quoting...
    Person 1: What's your pronouns?
Person 2: I'm a guy. He/him. Pretty fucking obvious, moron.
    Person 3: Oh, you're cisgendered?
Person 4: No, I'm a male. Cisgender isn't a thing, same thing with all of the other genders that you think exists.
Person 5: STOP OPPRESSING ME! TRIGGERED!

Also as far as I know being a cisgender perv is a pretty normal description of everyone on DSP

This week is the penis festival held every year in Kawasaki Japan since 698CE so for over 1320 years these lovely wenches have been celebrating our schlongs... Somebody got something right long long ago and then lost it in America 40 years ago.

I'm glad the lollipops give them something to practice on
