Words never used concerning a Dodger v Padres series, EVER. Fight for 1st place. Who knew? Well actually I did write that if the Padres get pitching they will be a threat so there's that.

nl west is so bad anyone has a shot
pads starters currently have the 4th best era in the nl -- tough to imagine they can sustain that but who knows
i personally think they're overachieving but maybe the rest of the nl is just really bad

There's always that one team that overachieves. Could be that new blood was injected with Machado and Tatis, along with their starters doing their best to make a good impression. Just wait till they win the wild card and win the world series against the astros.

This CT thing with Roberts is pure garbage. There are pictures or Roberts and CT are going full Gnats or something.

It feels like the college entrance scandal.....a moron kid that feels entitled because the parents think their child is awesome and just needs space....then gets bailed out by money when the rubber doesn’t hit the road.

    CT should be expelled.

    Nomar has won me over.
While he, like most analysts, is prone to cliches here and there, his words have more substance than Orel 99 percent of the time.
John Hartung just tried to make a point that May is a good time to get Joc some at-bats against lefties. Nomar, to my surprise, rightly pointed out that there is a huge sample size of Joc struggling against lefties and his at-bat quality against them is pretty bad. Refreshing. I have also heard Nomar complain about benching Max and Verdugo against lefties. Spot on.

Evidently, you and some others don't get the "runway" concept.
    Oh well.
