If Toronto gets to the finals, we won't get Leonard in FA. That's my call

That'll be the hype. But even if Kawhi won the NBA championship this year, he still turned down super-max money in order to choose his own team. Right now he plays for the team that Pop chose for him.

Well I look stupid. Milwaukee couldn’t handle the pressure, especially Middleton.

    33% from 3pt land as a team.
    10-30
Milwaukee Fucks couldn't shoot under pivotal Game 5 pressure. They're gonna have nightmares about Game 3 all offseason. Should've had a 3-0 lead

Lots of offensive boards given up my Milwaukee down the stretch. The one that stands out is Kawhi getting his own board on a missed 3 at 96-95 while Giannis stared off into space. When it truly matters, those two aren’t that close.

10K outside the Air Canada Centre or whatever they call it these days
They're going to be insane if they get to host the Finals Game 1

No. 2 wanted NO PART of having to shoot those clinching free throws. So he retreated from three Raptors trying to foul him, lobbed a dangerous pass to Lowry, who got tackled. NO FOUL CALL??? And Toronto lucked into a clinching dunk by Siakam

    What a clown.

LeBron reportedly courting AD again, this time ahead of AD's meeting with Griffin. And new reports say LeBron is recruiting Jimmy Butler as well..Markazi is close with guys in the league and he's heard the same. Jimmy would be a strong signing, IMO. He has a little crazy in him, but every championship team has a little crazy. He's held the edge over LeBron in their matchups over the years and shows up in the playoffs, neither of which Paul George has really done. But Jimmy will be 30 next season. He'll probably be really good for at least another 2 or 3 years and have a drop off in his final year. However, if they do win big, that final season won't hurt nearly as much. Markazi says Jimmy would sign in a second if LAL offered him the max. Better than targeting Kemba Walker's lil ass that hasn't proven anything outside of regular season stuff. Jimmy could flourish just like Artest did and that's who I'd compare his overall talent level to..I imagine Kobe would sign off again. Switching lanes..that Caruso has semi-flourished with LAL, knows the org and has gotten comfortable, he should want to be back and not let the short term offers for a couple extra mill sway him from positive momentum on the biggest stage. He should stay in the comfort zone and think macro this offseason. The salary cap is going to rise again soon enough and bring more flexibility for LAL and he can be rewarded pretty well if he kicks the can down the road. Should stay and be a starter for a contending LAL unit as opposed to taking a mill or two more to go and be a backup elsewhere, potentially getting lost in the shuffle. LAL is probably not going to want to rely on a rookie PG next season, anyway, even though Garland by all accounts is a stud. But they'd have Garland at lead guard moving into the future alongside AD, so all good.

So let's say LAL does sign Jimmy, that they complete the trade for AD and are also able to get Caruso to stick around and start @ PG. Obviously, the minutes on the wing will be soaked up by LeBron/Jimmy, so it may not make sense to use the MLE on another wing even if it is a shooter. And if AD is going to soak up most of the minutes at the PF spot ( his preference), it's then critical to find a center that can space out offensively, but still be mobile/tough defensively. The latter just as important as the former. In this scenario it may make the most sense to use the MLE on somebody like Dewayne Dedmon. He's 30, so he's not too young or too old, right in the win now window..he shoots the 3 ball at a strong clip..he's not soft and plays solid D..7 footer with good length..from Lancaster and he's a SC Trojan that might consider playing for a title with LAL a dream. Dedmon is basically Serge Ibaka- lite at this point, has found his footing the last couple years and is trending upward. He's pretty much a Top 20 center right now, just shot north of 80% at the free throw line, we can all appreciate that much after this last season. He should be good for at least 24 minutes a night and the starting role. His season was cut a bit short by an ankle injury in early April, but the Hawks weren't playing for anything. Just as important as anything else here, Dedmon has a worker bee attitude..he's not the Javale McGee type of jackass that thinks he's better than he actually is. They can fill the rest of the team out with title chasing veterans and cheap athletic types on minimum deals. Mike Scott, Taj Gibson, and Kyle Korver should top LAL's list of title chasing vet minimum targets..Reggie Bullock could be a younger/cheap option as well as keeping Jemerrio Jones and Johnathan Williams around on their non-guaranteed deals. Shouldn't be that hard to field a strong team if they complete the AD trade and sign Jimmy.

    Dewayne Dedmon-Taj Gibson-Johnathan Williams
    Anthony Davis-Mike Scott
    LeBron James-Kyle Korver-Jemerrio Jones
    Jimmy Butler-Reggie Bullock-Nik Stauskas
    Alex Caruso-Darius Garland-Isaac Bonga

Bayless, Popovich and the whole Spurs army can SMFD. Especially this BS rumor/report about LAL potentially bailing Popovich out of his silly trade for Derozan. Pop's gotta swallow that grenade. They're nothing without the aid of the draft lottery. That's in the history books. Kawhi told them all to eat a dick.

And as much as I love Pat Riley, he's overrated as an exec too. The word is out via RJ, that post-LBJ/Wade/Bosh, stars are not in a hurry to go to Miami and deal with all the fuckery, stipulations and hardcore structure that Riley has in place. 3 hour practices, super-strict diets, rumored private investigators watching player movement in the city, etc. Smh Riles runs shit like a warden. Now, maybe you have to have a heavy hand in a place like Miami, but I'm looking at his resume there and I don't see guys falling over themselves to get there for him. Riles didn't recruit LeBron or Bosh..Wade did that. They went there for Wade and for the sunshine. Ray Allen didn't go there for Riles either. And as soon as Wade/Bosh went downhill, LeBron was out. He didn't stay for Riles or believe Riles could make the moves necessary to reignite that group. And if Joe Dumars isn't snorting coke before the draft and passing on Carmelo in favor of Darko, Wade doesn't fall into Riles' lap either. Wade goes to Toronto. Can you imagine that Pistons group of Ben/Rip Hamilton/Chauncey/Sheed Wallace/Tayshaun + Carmelo? Dumars is out of the league and rightfully so. Fuck is wrong with that dude?

Up 2-0, up 2 in OT in game 3, up double digits multiple times in game 5, and up 76-61 last night.

Bucks just weren't ready for the big stage and their star has a lot of limitations on offense.
