Joc is drawing my ire and disappointment for an extended boring time now.

Is this the new LAD ? Two or three hits halfway through games now? And it's not been just lately either, it's been a while. Off some scrub pitchers much of the time.
Definitely does not look like most of the first half. I just think it's very possible to get lulled into a false sense of security...especially with the guy pulling the strings. And possible the orders being issued by the high command.

Luvello is such a little twat...6 run lead and he's using the BP like it's a playoff game and the losers get beheaded like some Mayan chachli match.
    Wormy scum.

Man, starting to feel fortunate that we did not trade for Giancarlo Stanton. The big guy seems to be breaking down already. After a slow recovery from an injury, the dude got hurt again almost immediately(even after a separate injury during rehab). He’s gonna be out til August at the earliest now and that’s if things go better than planned. Can only imagine what 8 more years of that contract would have done to our new penny pinching ownership group.

and although still early, probably grateful we didn't sign harper
seems more often that not these long term deals end up hurting the (signing) team

Agree. These mega long term deals are bad business regardless of the talent involved.

I want two “fuck you” relievers over anything. Vasquez, Hand, who cares. Make it so Kenley ONLY gets the 9th and doesn’t have to pitch more than 3 outs. I feel they can find offense in other ways, smaller deals for a righty or something.

yeah i was all aboard the "sign bryce" bandwagon
but man those contracts can literally cripple an organization for eons

    offense is fine imo
guys like kiké, taylor and joc are going to have hot/cold streaks
but the nucleus (turner, cody, max, verdugo) is pretty solid
really hope pollock's return doesn't cost alex ab's

but yeah, totally agree on elite relievers

True, but with their luck he will come back, hit 11 HR in the post season, win the WS, and not give a shit in the end.

I'd suggest staying away as ESPN 710 as well.

jim rome was great before his ego and catchphrases consumed him
the original loose cannons were good too
shit started going downhill quickly when they hired asshats like newy scruggs, dave denholme and john fricke

Does anyone remember Friarbolt on Dodger Blue ( I think).
    Diehard Padres and Charger fan?
He beckoned over cyberspace to be beaten severely, multiple times.

Monday has been saying since Spring Training that Ferguson is telegraphing his pitches and Rick has no clue why he is at the MLB level still. He said Ferguson is using two different motions between his FB and CB, while severely slowing his arm speed to throw the CB. Don't know why the team waited so fucking long to do something about it.

They should trade Caleb to the Red Sox maybe...watching this NYY/BOS joke of a game in London as representitive of baseball. It's 15-6 in the 5th...great game if you like offense and blow outs, I guess.
Why, it's almost as bad as Coors.
    Close, but not that bad.
