    Dodgers would need about 4 guys to come up and/or turn their seasons around in the BP and for Cody to be what he was the first 2 months of the season.
    Neither are gonna happen.

    Yup. If LAD's farm wasn't so strong it'd be a blow out between these two.
    They've built a solid farm and are spending more wisely than LAD

    What a shit deadline. We’ve gotten the best player available at the deadline for the past 3 years so this feels shitty to not do anything. Not even a Chris Martin or Hudson or Carl Edwards. That sucks ass. Oh well. Pray that some of our young guys step up

    Here’s the crazy thing: the past 2 World Series winners had shaky ass bullpens they didn’t fix and they were patching together even DURING the World Series.

    Today sucks, no doubt, but no team in the NL improved enough to make me terrified. It would’ve sucked more if we didn’t get a reliever and Vazquez/Smith/Noah/Wheeler/Ray/Giles/Garret/Colome/Bummer were traded. That’d piss me off.

    Losing out on Shane Greene and Daniel Hudson and Chris Martin? Eh. They would’ve helped no doubt but meh.

    It does suck to not have made a play on Greinke though but I strongly doubt the ownership was gonna let Friedman do that.

    The Dodgers have multiple arms on the farm that have the stuff to be back of the bullpen, shutdown arms for the stretch run. With that said, this was an absolutely horrendous deadline and Friedman needs to hire a GM ASAP as it is obvious that he no longer can handle the duties. He’s gonna get crushed for inactivity and he fucking should. The Astros GM learned what a shit deadline can do to a club with WS aspirations, but he was bailed out by a second deadline Hail Mary. The Dodgers have no such luxury, so Dave Roberts will have his work cut out for him. Every competitor in the NL just got better and the Dodgers road to ending their World Series slump just got rockier.

    Hello from Edinburgh. What a different trade deadline for me this time around. Popped on WiFi at every opportunity to find out we got Jed Jerkoff..

    But hey at least we didn’t give up the farm. Really not much out there. What should the FO have done? Pay the Pirates lux plus for thier guy?

    Not sold.

    Lets patch the BP up with home grown talent and get this shit done ...

    Also- the whiskey is amazing, scenery even better.

    Anyways, the reliever we got from Tampa bay is very good against lefties, bad against righties, so he’s a good fit as long as he’s used that way
