    Good little tryout for some of our righties against Paxton/Sabathia. I expect to see Taylor, Enrique, and Gyorko get good amount of at bats to see how they’re doing

    How come only the Sunday game is national? This is THE classic matchup and a possible WS preview.

    Screw the boring Yanks and Red Sox matchups they always show on ESPN.

    Yeah, wearing these jerseys for a nationally televised series kinda sucks, but at least they are white (racist) instead of multi-colored (racist) like the past 2 years.

    I understand the appeal of this series. I really do.
    But the crazy demand for tickets baffles me. $150 for top deck? $300 in RF?
    Do Dodger fans really want to see the Yankees that badly?
    Are there that many deprived Yankee fans who can't just see them play against the Angels 3-4 times per year?
    The PR/sales team deserves raises.

    And why are the jerseys black and white (racist!)

    For a weekend celebrating the personalities and uniqueness of players, they picked the most bland and unremarkable colors imaginable

    When it’s a series that only happens once every three years, yeah. Classic matchup which gets the prices up. $150 for top deck is insane though. But it’s kind of the standard for the yanks. Last time we played the east my tickets against Boston were like $25 and when I tried to get the ones against the Yankees, they cost about $75.

    Hell I was about to shell out $100 for tickets at Fenway before my brother in law got some seats from family friends.

    You are quite correct sir. Anytime you see a 1:00 game on a Saturday or a 5:00 on a Sunday it's automatically a national tv accommodation move.
