Agree with most. However, now comes the most important question..why re-sign and stay with that inept org? Loyalty? Evading the pressure of winning? Or is he just dumb? The latter is likely in a general sense, but maybe all of the above are the culprit here?

Regardless, in this era of player movement, if a superstar never finds himself on a team that's in a position to win big, the player has to take some responsibility. How much responsibility? That's up for debate. But definitely some because free agency can be the cure. Now, if an Arenado wants to hit it big and grab the bag when his inept org offers it up, that's understandable because it was his 1st big contract, but Trout had already signed a major extension, so he was fine.

Ultimately, I hope fans aren't going to give Trout some badge of honor for staying in a shitty situation and labeling it " loyalty ". Not in this era. That would've flown 30-40 years ago, but not now. Take control of your destiny and find a better situation.

Apparently this rumor is being labeled as false. It was in the privacy of his own home according to most recent reports. Players union had a chance to fight the suspension and apparently said no thanks. Not a good look!

is it or not? That is what I read. Why else would it not be fought unless someone like that directly witnessed it? there is not police report, the cops were never called, so what else could it be?

Cubs on the outside looking in right now. 1.0 GB behind Milwaukee.

Would love to see Washington fall apart too.

Brewers, Cardinals, Rays is the path we need.

    Washington Nationals vs. Miami Marlins
    Milwaukee Brewers
    vs. Pittsburgh Pirates
    Philadelphia Phillies vs. Cleveland Warrens
San Francisco vaGiants vs Atlanta Braves
Tampa Bay Rays vs. Boston Red Sox

Bold = preferred to win for the Dodgers to have a chance in the playoffs.

No idea, just saw a report that stated this rumor was false and the investigation was ongoing. Does seem odd with the way it was handled and there was some event taking place that evening.

Actually happened: Marlins signed Donnie to a two year extension.
And not a Dewey Wins ! moment, either. Actually happened.
It's good to see competent managing rewarded like that.
    Huzzah!

Has anyone been watching the Braves lately?
If any team looks playoff ready, it's them. Whoa.
    In all aspects.

I think they were 5-5 in their last 10 before last night.
But yes, they are dangerous. I want nothing to do with them, Washington, Houston, New York, Oakland, or Cleveland.
We aren't that good of a team. Need to face the weakest to have even a slight chance.

I think were very clearly the best team in the NL but I know I’m in the minority (racist) with that. Obviously we can lose any series cause this sport is wack but there’s a reason every team, especially in the NL, is scared to face us. We’ve been there before and have stumbled into the playoffs and still gone through teams easily. Every weakness we have, the other NL teams also have and probably worse. But we’ll see I guess. Anyways, 100+ wins is awesome
