    LOL I work with a hopeless Halo fan too. He also thinks the Halos should go for Cole. I tell him “one player doesn’t make that much of a difference, and what they really need to do is trade Trout for a HUGE return of prospects”. We laugh and agree to disagree.

    Guy is highly capable. Not sure if anybody in this era has taken more no hitters into the 8th inning or later.

    Career 2.57 ERA in the postseason for Sanchez. And now he's doing it with an 87-88 MPH fastball. Just makes you want to tell Kershaw to go to hell for the 51st time in 2 days

    The delusion of Kershaw and Kenley is 100% on Roberts. Instead of being honest with them and getting them to adjust and work with what they've got left, all he did is kiss their asses and tell them how great they are -- which misled them and hurt them and the team. I despise Roberts and I now despise the Front Office for coming to his defense. They're doing the same fucken thing he did, validating ineptness instead of acting to correct it. Fuck both of them.

    Our frustration here seems to stem from our belief that Guggs/FO actually care about winning a WS. They do not.

    Red Sox ownership/FO, a good example of caring about winning a WS.

    Yankees built this team mostly by developing players and smart deals. Ironic how their big money dive (Stanton) has been a non-factor.
