Scherzer, Rendon and Stras get a ring

Bryce Harper did say he wanted to bring a title to DC

All he had to do was leave. Can we get Clayton to do the same?

Yeah, let's not get too crazy out here. Nats got past the only team in the majors that has choked as much or more as they have over the years, and are now ripping STL's 2 man lineup.

Astros are a juggernaut. It is what it is. Astros in 5.

I'm not saying they should be favored, just saying they couldn't have scripted this any better. In the first round we were talking about how their use of their pitching staff will catch up to them eventually in the postseason - but now with the sweep, it won't. They will go into WS as fresh as they've been all season, which will all but cover up their team's biggest weakness (their bullpen). For a team that really shouldn't be in the conversation with the Yankees, Astros, and (dare I say) Dodgers, they are in a position to push the AL champion to the brink.

    Astros in 7.

The ALCS is a tough watch for me. I hate everything about Houston but the Yankees have a lot of obnoxious fans and I know a couple of them, unfortunately.

Team wise, the Yankees are more likable, but I know 0 Asstros fans and plan to keep it that way.

    Can both lose?

When I watch Carlos Correa’s gay homerun trot from the other night, I can’t help but think of how the media would treat it if that was Puig.

Don't get why you say they shouldn't be in the conversation with these teams. They do have 4 pretty good starting pitching options and they do OK drafting/developing. Nats spend big too. Nats aren't the little sisters of the poor or a cupcake.

I mean, I get that win totals are a thing, but this Nats team has been as hot or hotter than every other team in MLB since July. That said..again, HOU is just a juggernaut. And they battle. They're not a lazy juggernaut. They take on Altuve's character, the everyday force multplier we wish we had..the sort of star the LAD FO should be searching for this winter
