Gonna see where these aggressive trade talks go, and if they don't bear superstar fruit, I'm out. All the way out on the LAD. I smell a rat. A vehicle of deceit. And MLB signed up for it, just as they approved of the last clown..thus, they too are guilty. Neither entity any better than the Astros.

But again, will wait and see if Lindor lands first before I pull the plug.

Good for Rendon. Dodgers probably tried the same deferred $ route that the Nats did with Rendon. Same deferred $ route that they just tried with Cole.

As of yet, has any Boras guy agreed to deferred money? As I said a day or so ago..you show up to the table, you do what's necessary to win the services. Overpaying is part of the game.

I'm a very reasonable man. I try to see things from all perspectives. This is the first time that I've been upset. An irrational feeling of betrayal.

I really did think that the Dodgers were going to sign one if Rendon or call. After the dialogue change that went from quiet in the past to talking about changes and allocated funds for this year and to walk away empty it feels bad.

If they just kept quiet I'd still be talking about Friedman having a checkers chess plan. Now I feel like we tried and lost again. Just like it's been on the field for years. Close but not close enough.

Any of you dudes have tickets within shouting distance of Walters? I'll fly in and pay for a ticket if you let me sit next to you for the game until I get kicked out for shouting at him too much.

Until Friedman is desperate he wont shell out the huge contract. more of good during the season because of depth but shitty post seasons because we lack the elite talent that shines under the bright lights.

Guggs sitting in their office feeling fine. Don't think for one second that they're disappointed. They know they're going to win games and that people are gonna show up to the stadium, anyway. What other major sporting event is happening in LA during the summer? Nothing. They have that time of year monopolized, and that's where they win. Bobbleheads, bkitches..come and gettem.

It is the Stan Kroenke approach. I watched it for years here in Denver. He owned(he still does, really) the Nuggets, Rapids, Mammoth and Avs. One team would get an infiltration of money every couple of years when the team attendance would dwindle and the cycle would move club to club every few years. He would get an org good enough to get fans excited, but never enough to get over the hump, alas boosting attendance in the process for at least 2-3 years. This FO/ownership is still riding the wave of a WS contender that fell into their laps when nobodies became somebodies(Morrow, Turner, Muncy, Ryu, Taylor, Barnes) and carried their limp dicks through most of the postseason. They didn't get that superhero this year and the charade was over. These motherfucking pieces of shit don't care about winning, they just care about their bottom line.
