    Injuries already rolling in:
    • Mitch Haniger of the Mariners will need another surgery that could sideline him for a significant chunk of the season.
    • Mike Clevinger may not get to act on his promises as he’s going to need knee surgery and there’s no timetable for his return. Good thing we didn’t go that route.
    • Alex Verdugo is on the slow path back from his back injury and will miss the start of the season. It is said to not be considered major and Andrew Friedman mentioned the other day that they did everything they could to not include Verdugo in the Betts trade.

    That's the thing about Houston...their character was very questionable prior to all of this with the blatant tanking, the racist gesture by Yuli, the trade and acceptance of Osuna(woman beater), an assistant GM mocking a female reporter about Osuna, etc

    I am sure there are many more....Bregman/Correa have always been cocky pieces of shits.

    The Indians sure had an interesting way of breaking the news lol

    @Indians

    We would like to officially welcome Domingo Santana to The Land!

    Additionally, Mike Clevinger will undergo surgery on his left knee today and his timetable is TBD.

    @jorgecastillo
    Bellinger: "I thought Manfred's punishment was weak, giving them immunity. I mean these guys were cheating for three years.
    I think what people don't realize is Altuve stole an MVP from Judge in '17. Everyone knows they stole the ring from us."

    @Alden_Gonzalez
    On Altuve not wanting jersey ripped: “I don’t know what human hits a walk-off HR against Aroldis Chapman to send your team to the WS,” Bellinger said, “and 1, has the thought to say, ‘Don’t rip my jersey off.’ But 2, go into the tunnel, change your shirt, and then come out ...”

    I could post endless things about those cheaters. Glad that players are speaking up about it.

    Yadier Alvarez is in Dodgers camp. He missed most of last year after being placed on the restricted list for leaving the team. There were a lot of rumors about a piss poor attitude from him before that and zero desire to take instruction from the organization. Hopefully him being back in camp is a sign that he’s willing to change, but he could be back cause he’s supposed to be and we’re a few days away from him being gone again.

    If Manfred really ends up punishing players looking for justice than the freaking cheating Astros....players should just bean Manfred.

    Seriously though, MLB has to punish the players, the team, the FO and the owner more than this BS. Crane just spit in MLB’s face and pissed off all the other teams more than I thought would be possible.

    I might just attend an Angels game just to throw garbage at the Astros.

    actually makes me happy the astros are so smug
    we’d hate them regardless
    but if they had showed contrition and remorse for their action, others may have been more willing to forgive them
    no such luck
    they’ve shown their true colors for all to see
    and whatever happens to them, they will have earned
    glad that everyone, and not just the LAD and their fans, now hate them
    and their day is coming

    I'm not the biggest Alex Wood fan going, it's true. But what he said about the Assterisks definitely elevated him in my evaluation of him.
    He said "wouldn't it be ironic if players took things into their own hands ( read: beanball, etc.) and get punished for doing so, the punishment for them would be worse than the cheaters got"?
    Ironic, indeed.
    I say it still has to happen...to what degree, IDK. But has to.
    I can't say that MLB is going to advocate player revenge in any way...but initially, they can look away for a while.
    If they care about the game so much, and Manfred is a milquetoast as we all know.
    Personally, I think a crime was committed, and charges should be pressed.

    Agreed. Just hope the player that takes it into his own hands isn’t Alex Wood and his 87 mph fastball

    Dave Roberts said Kenley Jansen will be “more aggressive” in his throwing program this Spring than past Springs.

    Excited for him to be “touching 90” on opening day.
