Report was that Urias was rattled by it, even though he didn’t show it on the mound. After the 2nd inning he stopped Odor as he was running to the dugout, and asked for Calhoun’s cell number, which the Rangers gave him. Calhoun and Urias were teammates at several stops in the minors.

San Francisco and Seattle have both restricted gatherings to no more than 1000 people(Seattle is 250). This will likely mean that both the Giants and Mariners will have to play their home games in Arizona or empty stadiums to start the season.

    Same here.

I won't be shocked if all major sport leagues are suspended indefinitely.

Being that I am in real estate, this is fine for the office since I hate going in there anyway, not fine for anything else and I have a bevy of clients right now that are looking at homes. Not to mention my parents are old, my wife is with child and we are all supposed to be going to palm springs in a couple weeks.

Our company annual leadership conference was cancelled last week and I’ve been put on a travel ban until further notice. I travel for work so I’ll be home for at least 30 days or until this shit gets sorted. Unreal.

my sons school Cal Berkeley closed but he still has to be up there to turn in exams. You would think that shit could be done via internet portal or something.

Man, I don't know. There is talk of playing games without fans, and with the television contracts I have to imagine it's still financially worth it to play the games. Viewership would likely go up with more people at home with nothing to do.

Gameday attendance is not nearly the money maker that television is, from what I have been told. They won't have food, beverage or hourly employee costs with an empty stadium that offset the ticket pricing and what not, so it's not like a massive loss. The issue will be that there will be an entirely different feel to the game with total lacks of adrenaline for some guys. It will be a different game.

I’ve been in healthcare for 23 years. Never seen anything like this in regards to preparation outside of Y2K.
MDs and infection prevention colleagues are pretty serious about this one. SARS, H1N1 never brought this much attention.

I’m not taking anything for granted. Better to be prepared than not.

many people criticized the way China handled this thing in the Beginning. We can’t Afford to brush this shit off. This threat is real brother.

I haven’t gone to Costco to buy a bunch of asspaper but won’t rule out getting some more water and dry/ canned goods. We live in earthquake country anyway so why not. I have a family to look after and if I look like a fool for being Cautious , then so be it.

Everyone should cancel their opening day plans probably. At least the Dodgers will have enough time to complete renovations in time for the all star game amirite?
