Well, Hinch and their GM is coming back without having to miss a game. Also, one half of their pick forfeiture would be void.

Then it behooves the ML players and coaches when and if play ever resumes to make sure that the slimey, cheating, piles of steaming shit Asstros are constantly put within the fans consciousness as to what they did.
    The arrogant, low life cocksuckers.
The punishment must fit the crime, not a fucking timeline forced on the sport by world events.
And use whatever means necessary, since MLB leadership is obviously incapable.

Always loved this player as a child because of his name.
But honestly alkalinity is the key to fighting the virus.
If you feel you may have been exposed or are starting to feel flu like symptoms you need to alkalize yourself as much as possible.
Start off with gargling with a glass of water with half a tablespoon of salt.
Drinking ginger tea. Lemon water. And straight cider vinegar.
Your throat is where you can do the most for the least as it is the factory for the coronavirus.
Before it spreads it makes its base in your throat and starts co-opting the glands that create white blood cells.
That is what the crown virus does. It kidnaps cells and body systems and turns them into factories to create baby virii.
So the first week is important. Don't let it go down into your lungs if you can help it.
Keep your throat wet and be based like Al Kaline.

There are some interesting ideas being thrown around to bring the startup to the season closer. One idea was a full Arizona based league, but that seems to have been killed due to the fact that teams would need to play daily day games in the summer, in ARIZONA. So the new idea being tossed around is a Spring Training league setup with Cactus League and Grapefruit League conferences. This would be incredibly interesting to watch unfold and see where things were aligned. Both the Cactus League and Grapefruit league have 15 teams, so someone would have to move. The likely move would be for an eastern timezone team to head to Florida since they have 2 domed stadiums and the summer is not quite as brutal heat wise(though rain is a major problem), the close proximity to all stadiums makes Arizona more desirable as players can stay at home every night and a team like the Astros or Cards could likely flip that way. One thing from this is if they did remove the Indians or Reds from the Cactus League, they would be removing one of the few more potent teams from the CL and putting them into a fairly stacked GL. The Dodgers would be the far and away projected favorite of the CL with teams like the Indians, A's, Pads and Cubs all huddled about 10 games back. I really want to see a season take place, and if this is the cost, then so be it. If they did do a CL/GL, then this would be my idea:

    Cactus League
    Western Division
    Rangers
    Royals
    Mariners
    Padres
    Dodgers
    White Sox
    Cards (Playing at Goodyear)

    Eastern Divison
    Angels
    Cubs
    A's
    Giants
    Rockies
    D'Backs(Playing at Chase Field)
    Brewers

    Grapefruit League
    Northern Division
    Braves
    Tigers
    Yankees
    Blue Jays
    Phillies
    Pirates
    Orioles
Rays(Playing at home in St Pete)

    Southern Division
    Reds(Playing at Port Charolette)
    Red Sox
    Twins
    Mets
    Indians (Playing at Jupiter)
    Marlins (Playing at Marlins Park)
    Astros
    Nats

Teams may not like being moved around, but the fact that the Indians and Reds are both eastern time zone teams, means they probably should move out of the PST. I was back and forth on the Astros or Cards coming back, but my feeling there is that Cards and Cubs have a storied rivalry, so that makes more sense for them to move this way and the league may think hiding the Astros in the GL South may avoid more retribution that would come their way in the CL. The only thing is that this alignment would remove both of Juniper's and Goodyear's primary tenants and the league may decide to make as few moves as possible with only one team really making the move across Leagues and the 3 local teams playing at home. This is probably's baseball's best bet at having a season at this point, so I hope they can figure out something here soon.

Fun to think about... but execution wise I don't see how the players or fans can get into empty spring training stadiums.
It's going to be pretty lethargic.

Play all games at the lake Elsinore storm facility.
Fill the stands with recovering meth heads who have taken the covid test.
House players in the empty hotels.
Let them play watersports and sky jumping and all the extreme sports that normally void their contract since Elsinore is the home of all that fun neck stuff.

Oh yeah, no fans. So it could be pretty quiet the first couple of months, but at least they will be getting games in. I honestly don't think it will be a huge impact on the game though. I know a lot of people keep saying that, but this is a sport that you grew up playing in pretty much empty stadiums until you get to the pros. Sure you may have a couple thousand people in an MiLB stadium, but is that really that big of a deal? I think that there would be an adjustment period, but then it will be normal for these guys. I hate going to games anyway, so it will make no difference to me.

I think fans are itching for something to do, so we could actually see some of the highest TV viewer numbers ever. It would be more weird for the players, but like CKWG said, players are used to playing in front of small crowds with the minor leagues, high school, and college.

People would watch the shit out of anything right now. My dad called last week to talk to me about the 1984 NBA Finals that he had never seen. Viewership would be through the roof. It is just a matter on if they can make it happen. I am sure that the Fed would give MLB a waiver, but if it is anything like the NBA, they will wait until public health officials give the go ahead.
