I know a guy that's the type of help you are looking for.
But you sound like you need an RV.

wow that's impressive next level stuff
the dad is more or less a genius and definitely way above my pay grade
the cabinets alone are brilliant and pretty sure he is/was an engineer
would have liked to have heard more about him and his background
have to think weight would be a huge factor in the viability of the rig as well
are you planning on driving it all over the state/country or mainly staying in a general area?
reason i ask is because a gym membership might be another way of showering and getting use of exercise equipment etc.
totally respect where you're going w this and what you're trying to achieve my man
concerns me to hear you say you are going into debt in an effort to make someone pay you as well
sure you have a vision there and i don't mean to discourage it but loans and debt are back breakers
my buddies kid is an accountant that draws a nice salary and my sister is part owner of metaderm/haus sold on amazon
the accountant had several supplement stores he opened in Simi and he dumped a ton of money into them and lost it all
he's still young and has his job so he's bankrolling for his next shot
my sister is married to a biochemist and they receive grants from the government for other things but metaderm is taking most of their time
recently found out she still borrows money from my mom and my brothers and i support my mom
so as wide open as it it is the field is pretty crowded w players and its super competitive
again not wanting to rain bad energy down on you and you vision just sharing what i've seen up close
you had said you were looking into studying electrical i think, how did that go?
just recently worked w a young guy on a bunch of av stuff around the school and at home and he saved me a LOT of money
but he also made very good money considering the cost of materials etc.
if i were advising a young guy on a field to get into that would be a good one
sorry if i went off in the wrong direction its early and haven't been sleeping much

Just need to quit being picky and make it happen, one way or another.
    On the cheap, too.
The Devil is right, debt is a suckers game.
    From the ground up.

so do you need a good travel vehicle right now or just get out and move?
things like Hertz going bankrupt is likely going to make some cheaper vehicles available in the short term as creditors try to recoup what they can
(maybe not a bad stock bet at $1 a share either)
    all about timing my friend
your opportunities are all around you today and probably lay at your feet in pieces
its all about you figuring out what's right for you
like huh? says regret is a bitch that holds you by the balls forever if you let her
i've failed so many times in my life it doesn't even bother me that its a possibility
its what you do when its all on the line that creates character win or lose
and its always all on the line

Then buy a used Tacoma with a shell or a 4Runner.
    And a flatbed trailer.
Buy half an acre of land near the lake or Ortega hwy for about 30k.
Once you find your spot register as a farm and start producing something so you can get the benefits and drive without restrictions.
Wall it up with foam based concrete that looks and performs better than regular while saving loads of money and effort.
Sleep in the truckbed while you camp out inside your walls and start building up the flatbed into your mobile office/pad.
Since it's in wheels u won't need a foundation or much in the way of nornal building codes inspections.
If you get flack from the city then get a set of blueprints for a conventional home that has a garage.
    Get approved for that construction.
Build just the garage. But make it the best garage you can afford.
    Get the garage approved.
Build some scaffolding or some bullshit.
That's your actual house in progress.
Just never continue it until you are back to being able to afford having a regulation sized house custom built.
All the while you have been staying in your pumped out mancave of a garage.

Then fish the free tilapia, bass and carp in the lake and grow chickens and dwarf goats. That's your proteins.
Grow calorie dense crops for your animals and take them grazing for kelp around the lake. There is unlimited food and water out there.
You can live without killing yourself to live.
And the OC is not a long drive down the scenic route.

For the past about 5 years I have been in a hellacious battle of trying to limit my debt/climb myself out of debt. About 5 years ago my mom lost her job. She did not get on her horse and find a new one, instead she wanted to take a few months off because she wanted to have a chance to take a little time off before starting back up again with a new company. Plus, she was getting a severance package from the company. What could go wrong? The little break turned into an over three yearlong break during which time her severance package ran out, her 401k was pulled and used, no EDD, disability, nothing, just me picking up everything. Also, during that particular stretch, my Tito lost his job working for the dairy, Golden Crème. No worries, my Uncle is the hardest working man I had ever met and to his core he is a provider, through and through. He couldn’t find a job, every application he submitted came back the same. The were very interested in him but they couldn’t hire a non-citizen. Married 33 years to a US citizen, 3 kids born and raised in the USA, 1 in the military that put everything on the line in Iraq. Not a citizen. Supposedly what makes his case difficult is how his family initially brought him over here when he was a young kid. He loves the fuck out of the USA too, his proudest day may have been when my cousin joined the US Army for a chance to serve the USA. Anyways, my Tito was always the sole provider of his family and my Tita was always the homemaker. They were truly horrific financially, saying they were financially illiterate would be an understatement. They had nothing coming in and nothing to start with. They needed a place to live, food to eat, etc. I picked up the pieces. They moved into my two-bedroom apartment with my Mom and I. My Tito lost his job about 6 months after my Mom lost hers. By the time my Mom found herself a new job, I had ran through every penny I had saved, pulled and used my 401k, and was losing between $500-600 a month in just paying the bills. Still needed to eat, gas to fill up the car, so it was worse than the $500-600 hit/month. I literally denied myself every single thing you could imagine, I wouldn’t even stop at 7-11 for a .99 cent can of Arizona Iced Tea because I KNEW I couldn’t afford it. And I never did. Only ordered off the .99 cent menu, all the extremes you can think of. Shit, I had like 3 pairs of underwear that fit and 2 pairs of socks that I rotated through and they were holey lmfao. Couldn’t afford to spend $10 on some, I needed it for the bills. By the time my Mom finally got started working again, I had one credit card with a balance of around $3k. After about 7-8 months after my Mom started working again, my Tita, who was still living with me was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and according to the doctor we had about 1-6 months. Doc was right. My Tita gave it everything she could but she went out hard. Dropped some extra debt on the card that had debt and a fresh card, buying shit like cbd related products, organic foods, and stuff like that to try to make my Tita as comfortable as possible and get her some things she enjoyed. After she passed, nobody in my family had anything. I put my ass on the line again, put the financing of all her final expenses on a fresh Amex card and a fresh Chase Bank card, $9,300 on one and about $3,300 on the other. Rose Hills made fuck up after fuck up and my Tita’s daughter, Bree, fought tooth and nail with them for refunds, roughly in the amount of $5000 or so. Which she gave directly to me to pay towards some of the expenses. She gave about $1500 additional dollars in cash to go towards the bills but everybody else in my family hasn’t really given me anything. Probably like $1500 total towards the final expenses and $1000 I just got like two weeks ago. Would do everything all over again, it was for my Tita.

Since October 2019, my Mom and I, have been staying with my cousin Bree in her two-bedroom apartment with her husband, two kids, and my Tito. I am currently sleeping in about a 100 sq. ft. space in the kitchen that I sectioned off with a black out curtain, paying $600 rent/month. During this time, I have paid off my car (about $3500), capital one card (about $3300), my Amex is around $4k right now and my chase card was paid off with money I received for my Tita’s final expenses. Have about $5k saved up in an account that I do not touch and about $1500 in my regular account that I use to live. Would have paid off the Amex card but due to COVID, cash is king and will be for the next couple of years. I know I need to build a solid base to prepare for the worst, jobs are going to be lost. I heard your advice @BlueMouse, I haven’t responded to your advice but trust me I heard it and I remembered it.

Come this August 1st, everybody is going their own way in terms of living, it is just time. We have been crammed into a small ass space for so long lol. No hard feelings, just need more space is the general consensus. My cousin, her husband, her two kids, and my Tito are going to go one way, while I decide how to proceed forward with my Mom and I. Our time of living together has its days numbered. I want out now but it’s not time yet. I need to make sure my Mom is as comfortable as possible in terms of finances and place to live before we part ways.

    My to do list:

    · Pay off Mom’s Amazon card ($931)

    · Pay off Mom’s Capital One card (roughly $2500)

    · Pay off Mom’s debt she owes Federally, roughly $3000

    · Take on all her monthly expenses other than rent so all she has to worry about is paying rent and I plan on kicking her roughly $200-300 a month for that after we part ways and I have all those other things paid off already.

Currently, I just got a raise to $20/hr, so I am not exactly making big bucks over here lol. Not yet but I will.

Mom and I, found her a nice 1 bed 1 bath apartment in Rancho Cucamonga. That is likely her move come mid-July as we will need a move in date sooner than August 1st. As much as I do not want to, I will stay there for a short period of time so I can grind those debts down to nothing while not having to put anything extra on my plate while I do so. But once those objectives are hit, I am exiting stage right. I have to make sure Mom is as comfortable/stress free as possible.

I do not need a good working vehicle right now as I have my recently (January) paid off my car and while the interior needs some help, the car is in good functional condition. Just ready to embrace the suck to do everything I can to raise my family’s class status and SHOW them there is a way. Even if it’s too late for the adults, I need my nephew’s and nieces to know that they can do anything if they are willing to sacrifice. My gift is my ability to sacrifice, its what I know how to do, I figure I need to accentuate it to make my goals a reality. Obviously, it is going to take more than giving up certain comforts but it will have its part.

Trust me Devil, I have lost. I am what 30 years of losing looks like. What brought me down, made me feel worthless, embarrassed, a loser, I use to give me the fire in my soul I have now. I would not be who I am now if I hadn’t lost my entire life. Every single lose in my life has been a lesson. Losing and/or the idea of losing does not phase me, not anymore. If you lose, so what, stand up dust yourself off and put your ass on the line again. It’s always on the line, like you said. Have to be willing fail and I am.

back to BDK you can't possibly lose w that attitude
30 years old is so fucking young man i wish you knew
i'm not a sober guy now but i was when i got married at 30 and had a kid
at 28 i was a drug addict and thought i was going to die
your attitude of not being denied is your salvation
but you have to find your own answers and make wise decisions
then you are truly the master of your domain and no one gets to take that from you

First step is asking for help bdk.
Don't be too proud to beg.
Don't let the situation wreck your health.
    Get help.
    If I could I would.
Don't allow yourself to believe you have to do it alone.
    Reach for your friends.
Don't push them away out of fear or shame.
    You didn't fail.
You were caught in a snare.
    Call for help.
There's has to be a shepherd around somewhere.
    Talk to him.
