    I truly feel he has grown not to trust his excellent strikezone eye due to the filthy motherfucking umpires being pure scum when he's up there. I can't remember a player getting more called strikes against him that are simply out of the zone...and I've watched a lot of games.
    Over 25, I would say.
    Seriously, it happens again and again to him. So he swings at shit now.
    That's frustrating...real frustrating.

    he apparently broke (or dislocated?) his finger during summer camp so that’s probably bothering him quite a bit

    Trout has a career .543 OPS vs Kershaw.

    That number is irrelevant now. Have you seen dad Trout play yet?

    Ah man, I forgot.

    It’s like Kershaw the season after he got married. There was “Kershaw”, then there was “my boy Kershaw who is now getting some” who was on another level. Of course, now we are a few iterations of Kershaw later.

    He's certainly got royally fucked the past two games, but his problems began just a few games into the season.

    So far, so good with this Mookie thing. Tied the record for the most 3 HR games for a career. Who knew or better yet.....who cared?

    Nice comeback from an early shelling by Urias. He was throwing BP in the first inning. Great play by Pollack saved him another run. Just wish Roberts had let him finish the 7th.

    Who's that guy wearing the #15 jersey? Looks nothing like that Barnes guy who used to wear it.

    Seager gives the big middle finger to rust.

    @Vernoluck
    The Padres are really paying Manny Machado $300M to watch Mookie Betts jog past him at 3B for the next decade.

    A PS on last night's game.......nice to put a beating on wannabe tough guy Paddack. Good pitcher, but that fake bad ass scowl he wears is annoying.

    It is appearing that Urias needs an inning to figure his shit out before locking in. It looks like he will never be a front of the rotation star since his stuff seems to have ticked down a hair from what projections had, but he still looks to be a very serviceable starter. If his K's don't make a comeback, he is probably a really good 4-5 for our rotation, but long term he may not have a place with the org with the type of arms we have coming up. Now... if he starts finding the zone with more regularity, the stuff ticks up as he gets comfortable and the K's return, the ceiling for him is likely back in the middle of the rotation.

    I think he’s a mid rotation ish guy right now. I’ll agree I don’t think he’ll be the superstar he was hyped as but he’s very solid and still so young. The swing and miss is down a fraction right now but he’s been throwing strikes for the most part and creating soft contact.
