That was bullshit to have to endure, despite the win.

This team needs a manager, not a friend.

4 Padres reach base in the first 8 innings.

3 Padres reach base in the 9th.

But go ahead, keep running Jansen out there.

Ferguson’s injury looks really bad, season ending to be honest. Non contact elbow injury that makes you walk off like that? He’s arguably our best reliever

Jansen looked shaky, Pollock needs to get a better read... and honestly as much as we don’t wanna see Jansen, especially with Ferguson down we’re gonna need him. Need him to get lucky basically but they’re gonna need him and use him.

That Ferguson injury really hurts. I say bubble wrap some of the relievers, fuck

anyways, good easy win and amazing outing by Gonsolin

Kenley isn’t just one of the best closers in Dodgers’ history, but one of the best closers in the sports’ history. Seriously, the guy was amazing to watch.

So fuck you, Dodgers, for making me have to hate on him this much. Fuck you. Such fucking bullshit. He’s not the same pitcher, hasn’t been for 3 years, and you shouldn’t need a bunch of random internet trolls to tell you that.

Kenley will be Kenley no matter what the situation. At this point in his career, the slam dunk " it's over" a la Gagne of yesteryear, is a memory. It's a total crapshoot now when he is called upon, not ideal for a closer. As the Dodgers face better and better pitching, not exactly a recipe for the big O they've enjoyed previously.
But, imo, the saddest thing to behold is how Bellinger has morphed himself somehow to a rollover, top the ball to the right side, advertisement for complete mediocrity. He is making himself Shawn Green, but 8 years or so sooner.
Just incredible, no matter where he stands.
It may be the weirdness of 2020, which others have cited as reason for diminished performances this season.
    Maybe it is.
But he looks as clueless as a batter can.
    Really sad to see.
Actually, Muncy looks like a different player altogether. Bellinger is still a great defensive asset. But Muncy has become a liability on D. Just a massive drop off.

Wouldn't have minded seeing Gonsolin start the 8th. He hit 97 a couple of times in the 7th and would have been facing the bottom of the order. First runner that gets on, you pull him. 100 pitches (oh my God) wouldn't kill a young stud.

Lost among the general shit storm by Kenley were some really good pitches (no thanks to Pollack's misplay). Manny's hit is excusable. The walk wasn't. But he got Tatis on a really good pitch and put two good hitters (Myers and Cronenworth) with relative ease, making some really good pitches.

Nice to see Rios run into one, but Bellinger still (despite the RBI single) still looks like shit. Welcome back JT.

Just shame about Ferguson. Looked like he was returning to form. Not optimistic about his MRI today.

The 3 out pitches that Kenley threw were perfect, I'll give him that. But his stuff doesn't leave a lot of room for error, and with his command being hit-n-miss, blowups are just a matter of time (they've already happened plenty). He also had 2 really good inside pitches against Tatis and Meyers, but if he hits either of those guys we are probably looking at an L. He had a couple other fat pitches right down the middle against Tatis and Meyers that he got away with, and quite a few pitches that weren't within a foot of his target but at least missed outside the zone. All in all, a scary outing with 5 perfect pitches.

let him at least sniff the 8th

Gonsolin was dealing last night. It's hard not wanting him on the mound of Game 3 in a 3-game series.

Kershaw - Buehler - Gonsolin, with May available out of the pen if any of those guys look off early (or if Buehler's blister shows up).

I’m normally a dog person but the cat man has shown all year he’s got the stuff to play in the post. Guys been great all year so I totally expect him to be pulled after giving up 2 runs after four in the post

According to Bill Plunkett on Twitter:
#Dodgers Dustin May is available to pitch today and will "take down some innings" at some point, Dave Roberts says

Apparently Graterol is getting the start. If May pitches in any capacity, it must not be a major health concern. I don't know if this is a gamesmanship/matchup thing or if May needs some kind of treatment or stretching so they don't think he will be ready by game time.
