" it is this court’s view that local election officials should generally err toward counting otherwise legitimate absentee ballots lacking a definitive postmark if received by mail after election day but no later than November 9, 2020, as long as the ballot is signed and witnessed on or before November 3, 2020, unless there is some reason to believe that the ballot was actually placed in the mail after election day."

    Wisconsin.

They are targeting wisconsin, pennsylvania, Michigan, etc for this fraud.

A poster reached out to me about my absence in the game threads so I tried to turn the game on and see how it felt.

Mind you, I canceled spectrum after opening day, but I tried the free trial of AT&t TV now, which has SportsNet LA.

I feel nothing for this team anymore for a number of reasons but assumed I was being unreasonably critical of the initial SJW bullshit from a couple months ago. I hoped, at least, that chapter/barrier was over...

NOPE! Alana Rizzo comes on to talk about George Lombard's shoes, which is supposed to raise awareness of "all the racial inequality going on right now". They say these things in such a matter of fact way that it's impossible to even grant them their opinion and benefit of the doubt.

    So gross.

I haven't seen a Laker game since 2010, but I definitely like to hear when they fail.
I think the Lakers and the whole scene around them represents everything that sucks about Los Angeles.

The Dodgers I actually wish all the best to.
I'm disappointed that they joined the woke circle jerk built on lies...I don't have any interest left to watch...BUT I don't hate them. I still look back on fond memories of the blue.

lombard and roberts just want to keep it alive but it makes sense that's when you tuned in lol

Ah, man. That's actually pretty fucking funny that I would tune in for that one moment.

Dave Roberts was the leadoff hitter when I first became a fan. As a little leaguer I used to try to emulate his drag bunt and belly whopper slide into first base. I enjoyed Vin comparing him to Maury Wills when he was on first base and everyone knew he was ready to go. So fun. I also enjoyed the stories Vin told about his American father and Japanese mother meeting.

This is why I can't ever hate or regret loving the Dodgers.

I look back so fondly on trying to be a combo of Dave Roberts (drag bunt and belly whoppers), Adrian Beltre (barehand pickup, throw, fall on ass), Shawn Green (open batting stance), and Eric Gagne (spin and fist pump). Oh, and pretending to be Vin (which I still have recordings of my 7-10 year old self doing, as I was telling someone yestery). I sucked at all of those things, btw.

Imagine. I loved pretending to be a black, jew, dominican, and a freaking canadian. All the left's favorite demographics. And these same people (Dave, mostly) are sitting here race baiting the people who love them. Shoving this bullshit in our faces.

i used to emulate Reggie Smith and loved his swing from the left side of the plate so much as a kid i started hitting from the left side and found i was dominant on that side
no one gets to steal those memories but that's what the left is trying to do
if you let them take something you have so much joy from then they won, don't let them do that
it's not like the nba in your face all over the floor and jerseys shit plus all your boys are still here
think of it like a my pillow or relief factor commercials run on endless loop in your face and just tune out if it comes up
its not all that often and you don't have to focus on it
i saw that coming last night and just thought "how fucking stupid is this?" and muted it like when lindell tries to tell me he invented a fucking pillow
i swear that works and my mom and i still have something w love to share between us those cocksuckers couldn't steal
i hate it as much or more as you do and maybe this season is it for me but i get the feeling it's going to be worth it

Then we can all celebrate by doing a little in and out.

my memories are of my parents taking me to games
too young to remember seeing koufax
but i remember seeing drysdale who quickly became my favorite (and still is)
got to see a lot of greats -- clemente, mays, mccovey, seaver, carlton and many others
i never tried to emulate big don, but i did try to copy willie davis
same as diablo, i wasn't a lefty... but in the sandlot games you could do what you wanted

i went to a dodger game last year for the first time in many years
last time i went they had some rookie kid named piazza
it was great... but it was different
    not the same
    but yeah, still fun
i know i'm not alone, but the dodgers are part of my life
i cried when jerry doggett passed and i'll cry when tommy and vinny go
i've been tempted many times to turn my back on them -- especially during the shitty years -- but i just can't
    #53 won't let me
i am, for all my faults, an addict of dodger baseball
they could sell the team to nancy pelosi and i'd still root for them... okay, bad example
    go dodgers

    Great post, Irish...
When people ask me how long I've been a fan, I tell them, "well they were in Brooklyn then".
Then they say, "yeah, my _______ was too, but when they moved from Brooklyn to LA, they changed to the Mets/ NYY"...
So, I say, "I didn't root for Brooklyn, I rooted for the Dodgers. If they moved to Hartford, CT., then I'd root for the Hartford Dodgers...Brooklyn's cool, I had relatives there and all, but I grew up mostly in NJ".
Just never got that hating them shit...unless you were from Brooklyn, of course.

Been a fan since the days of listening to Vin in the late 50s on a transistor and reading about the Dodgers in the Long Beach IP.

Saw my first game in the Coliseum in 1960. Big D shut out the Reds, 2-0. Always tried to emulate Big D's throwing motion and Tommy Davis' stance.

Been to Dodger Stadium more times than I can count and I still get chills as we make the curve on Stadium Way off the 5 North and see the jewel of the Ravine. Brings me back to a lot of good (and not so good) times.

Favorite memory is a tie between Gibby's HR and Sandy's perfecto. Listened to Vin's call of every pitch of that game on the old transistor. Won't ever forget the Finley slam to clinch the division and just as importantly, fuck the Giants.

Things aren't the same and never will be, but they don't preclude some good times to ahead.

This Dodger addiction started for me in the early 70's. My dad would take me and my friends in the 63 VW van up Alameda to the stadium
We'd sit in the upper deck, 75 cents for kids and $1.50 for adults. Cap night, bat night, ball night we're always our favorite, along with chocolate malt with the wooden spoon/stick
Was there for the beginning of "the infield" and my favorites were Don Sutton, Jimmy the Toy Cannon Winn and Ron Cey
Took my kids a few times, but when I moved to OC got harder to go. Spend time at the Big A, but there's nothing like blue heaven

I hate what has happened to the game, can't watch any more. I will always follow the Dodgers, but as @fsudog21 said it will never be the same
