    They dropped the "Devil" part of their name as their owner or fans or someone complained it was like bad luck or something. So they cut it out. I remember after it happened they started fining any announcers or journalist that called the team the "Devil Rays". It pissed off a lot of people.

    I remember them changing it. I just didn't realize they have two different types of rays on their uniforms.
