People used to have revolutions over a 3%tax on tea.

Why wouldn't I? Those same dudes taxed whiskey and put down a rebellion over it :)

But the teeny tiny tax on tea was still an acceptable reason for a rebellion. Now you're up in here with 75%.

    Viva!

The tea tax was on expensive refined crown product.
The dumped tea was cheap asian product.
Patriots had no problem with taxes for a government of their choosing. That represented them.
The crown was like being governed by an alien. Radicals needed to do things to spark the rest of the populace to action.
Money really does belong to the issuer not the holder and folks used to know that a coin belong to the name on its face.
The dumping of cheap tea was a symbolic act perpetrated by new england merchants tired of being manipulated by the corporate overlords of the East India Company.
So they decided to START THEIR OWN CORPORATE MERCHANT MARINE STATE.
Print their own names on their own faces.
Maybe Samuel Addams just wanted people drinking Boston Lager instead?
Either way he was a wicked smart guy.

I don't engage in political comments ( that much), because the layers of it all renders it mostly an excerise in futility...but why do you write this ?
Turn on these people ? How do you see this ?
More like the media is their champion, not their antagonist...

You can only turn what you once championed. Like judas.
    It's about the money.
When bougie Babylon was indestructible the media tribes fanned their flame all over the empire.
But when they saw the writing on the wall the media joined up with the persians and cyrushed the akkadians of babylon and sent them packing west towards the curate tribes.
And the entire empire knew what had happened. Thanks to the median tribes bringing the message of doom.

I don't know, Rube...seems like a powerful unholy alliance to me. Like Harrison sang, all things must pass, but I don't think any time soon.
Kamala's tits will be down by her knees before that happens.

Something about Trump having his daughter AND Jared Kushner in top whitehouse roles gives me a bad feeling about one of them grasping power in some impossible to imagine dystopia that's just around the corner.
But thats just because i'm a happy go lucky kind of guy that tries to practice staying positive.

Joe Biden called me George yesterday. Couldn’t remember my name. Got some help from the anchor to get him through the interview. The Fake News Cartel is working overtime to cover it up!

    His rallies are very compelling.
The only real comparison that comes to mind is Hitler.
What other world leader do you remember doing this kind of thing and it working so effectively with at least half of the population?
I have heard things from actual people like at the barber shop that you would not believe unless we go to the same barber.

I didn't say anything about their skin and flesh or their racial hierarchy.
Are you speaking in smoke signals you learned back during the war?

    Fake news cartel.
Most groups in government or religious or fraternal institutions and even specific types of trade unions or entire business types/sectors themselves are and have the same names of ancient tribes.
For instance in the pre-greek period there was a tribe of people known as actors.
Guess what they were good at when the Persians invaded?
They were so good at pretending that they become better fighters than real fighters and helped the spartans.
Some thespians really go method and study the part until they are the part.
Just like there is an actors cartel there is a news cartel.
    A tribe.
And if there is a good (higher truth) news tribe there is a bad (lying fact) news tribe that's aligned with the bad actors and disgruntled spearmen with nothing in their hands but their spear.
The good news takes longer to get around because while peace sells nobody's buying.

Yeah but Hitler gets better press.

In the US, Obama had large rally crowds, streets named after him, and was celebrated heavily in popular culture.

I don't know if/why Trump is more compelling. I'm not that perceptive.
