No, I did not, young brother. Not in a million years. I'm left with that Soros learned well from his Nazi enablers and collaboraters all those years ago.
Most people think this is a great thing here in NJ, judging from snippets of conversations I've heard, here and there in my travels. Good 'ol blue Jersey.
But I know already, the nauseating factor of having to see/ hear Schumer spout his smarm on at least a daily basis, coupled with Pelosi and her Jack Elam botched bleph surgery even more than before, is a recipe for depression...now it will be squnintin' Joe and Misttress Kamala for at least four years, at least...
I' ve tried to live my life as a fair minded and basically good man, but self absorbed probably, I wonder WTF I did to deserve this as an old guy.
Trumps' monumental degree of ego finally tilted things with a response from him that will never be validated historically, and this day that " will live in infamy" will always serve as a Dem rallying cry. What happened has given them just what they wanted, and.just enough "revolution "( which they did want), to use as a platform for years.
You can't storm the Bastille in 2021, and it is shocking that Trump didn't know that. Or if he did, didn't care enough not to incite it. It wasn't him who took a bullet to the neck. Never would be.
And just as a personal note, Schumer's likening it all to Pearl Harbor, where all those sailors have laid dead on the bottom of that lagoon on the Arizona for 80 years, is simply abhorrent.
Ant stay tuned for so much more, boyos...

I might be second in seniority around here and I'm sickened by what I've seen this summer and in DC this week. Also sickened by the verbiage on both sides.

This is the part that bothers me the most and makes me think we are headed to civil war.
Some guys are pissed off about police brutality, so the burn police stations and it spills over into burning and looting a bunch of private property.
Some guys are pissed off about a perceived fraudulent election, so they storm the capitol, loot and get one of themselves killed.

I think both are wrong, but I'd say a pretty significant chunk of the population thinks these are different and one side is right and the other is not.
And the vitriol in how they say that makes it hard for people to find common ground.

I'm stoked about the new wars. Hopefully with China, or maybe New Zealand... just something in the Pacific Rim so we can increase the Dodgers fanbase. Trump attempting to start a war in Iran always seemed so reductive to me, I mean, the Middle East? Again? It's been done. As far as open borders, I'm only on board if we can also give people free stuff, because it's rude not to. You wouldn't invite someone over for dinner and then expect them to bring the dinner. My biggest hope is that we can get the return of Don to The Apprentice, because he always killed on that show. If he wants to continue his work in politics, then he seems like a shoe-in to represent the US at the US Embassy in North Korea. He did such great work there.

I saw an interview with a kid who claimed he was right next to the woman who was shot when it happened. Watching that video I think it might have been the backwards cap wearing kid who was right there. The one thing that struck me most in the interview is that he seemed completely shocked that shots were fired, even though he said there was lots of yelling at them to stop before it happened.

When you step back and think about what they were doing, it seems completely stupid of them to think they could overrun the Capitol building with no serious consequences. Watching that video though and seeing how many Capitol Police were there who weren't stopping them, I can kind of see how their frame of mind got twisted. A HUGE failure by the Capitol Police. Huge. Especially considering they turned down offers of National Guard support days before Wednesday. The first time the Capitol Building has been taking over by insurrection since the War of 1812, and by what was a relatively small number of disorganized people. Embarrassing.

    Insurrection?
    With cops taking selfies inside?
We all knew what was coming.
The cops parted to let them in.
    Like setting a trap.
    Then they attacked.
A bunch of bewildered disorganized people milling around in awe of the novelties inside the building so not an insurrection or an invasion make.
Insurrection is what the pussies on tv keep calling it.

The congressmen and senators in that building work for the people.
That building belongs to the people.
Why is it a violation for the people to enter their own building where they are to be represented?
Because those that work inside that building do not see themselves as folks.
They are above our station and believe themselves to be holy.
As if they wear bulletproof robes when they are made of crystal and clear like clarks glasses

i've said forever i hate both sides of the aisle but i'm never going to side w socialists and communists
the half of the country that voted for Trump has no one representing them and they're angry now
for the left to think this is going to go down without a shot is ludicrous and frightening
everything has a price especially freedom
the capitol event was absolutely a trap that the left benefitted from far more than anyone
now war will come down and life has changed forever

expect nothing less than pithy sarcasm from you
i enjoyed not going to war and attempted to start a war?
by surgically removing an enemy of the state lol
one bomb does not make a war and all the sarcasm in the world doesn't stop the war machine for shifting back into gear

That's the thing, it's clear the Capitol police allowed it to happen to some degree. Why? How? But nonetheless it happened.

People are allowed in the Capitol Building, it is open to the public. I believe you have to go through security to enter and I'm sure there are restrictions on how many people can be inside at once and where you can go once inside. I don't know if there are different rules because of COVID or because there was a joint session of Congress going on. If the building wasn't locked up before the protest began, it was clearly locked up after the protests began.

    For sure.
But just like in other peaceful protests when the cops let people mill around
Shit they even allowed them to take over and burn police buildings looting the weapons.
The intent of the mob was obvious.
Of course to those scared of their own constituents for rightful reasons go into panic mode and fear for their life because they know how much they have fucked over the common man.
They fear the people and believe the people want to come for their throats.
    It's their guilty conscience.
That's why they dropped to their knees and asked their aides for gasmasks.
Anyone who first looks out for their own safety in an emergency shows you who they are.
In crisis those that look to save their own lives will surely lose them forever.

I went down a rabbit hole on this last night till 3 am and had to shut it down. Thanks for that Rube.

but I ended up watching the whole video that this clown shot. 30 plus minutes with the dramatic ending you posted. It was so interesting to hear his narration and flipping back and forth from just being there to document and the fuck yeah we’re making history. He was genuinely having fun stating multiple times that he’s done this before.

By the looks it was clear who was there and where they stand. But there were a few characters sprinkled in that could have been there to instigate. One guy in particular had a snow cap on with ear flaps and glasses yelling shit about Epstein. Clearly instigating in my opinion. He was also there right next to her when she was shot.

you can find it on his Twitter. It’s an interesting 30 ish minutes

Clowns all of em. Proud boys, Qanon, BLM, Antifa.

Interesting time to be a parent these last several months.

It seems unrealistic to expect people to not be concerned with their own safety. They are lawmakers, not military. Even Trump stood behind bullet proof glass when he gave his speech to his own crowd, and we would have called him stupid if he wasn't behind glass. When your job involves pissing people off no matter what you do, or even if you do nothing, then it's ok to be concerned.

Also, I don't think the intent of the mob was obvious. What were they doing? What was the plan? The truth is they didn't have a plan, no one knew the person next to them, it was 200 people with 200 ideas of what was going to happen, and all it takes is one bad seed.

Those bad seeds are not patriots. Not supporters of the country.
When folks protest justly there are always 2 other groups that join them.
Hangers on that just want a cause to bitch about but never want to do any of the work to help the cause.
Not true believers but professional bitches who want to bitch and get to shine like a whitewashed knight.
They make their money or get their rocks off by being a bitch.
And the other group are professional sappers that come undercover and try to sabotage the group for their own radical agendas.
You didnt have 200 ideas out there.
    You had 3.

Concerned with safety is taking precautions before the fact.
    That is normal.
You don't leave your house without a t-shirt. Its cold outside.
But if you have to take it off to provide a tourniquet for someone you will.
    Anyhow its a strawman.
They fear the common people because they are guilty of everything they accuse others of doing.

    Obvious would have been obvious.
As in they are here to invade. Invasions are obvious.
None of the trump supporters were shooting anyone.
    They didn't have guns.
Kinda hard for an insurrection without weapons.
It was an occupy wall street type of situation.
Peaceful protest that the media and the lawmakers were hyping up as violent invaders before any of the action even started.
You have seen the video im sure when folks clad in black started to break windows and crawl into the building.
You can hear the crowd booeing and telling him not to break the windows and not act like antifa.
You have seen the vide of police letting them in.
You have seen the video of police within the halls of the building smiling and taking selfies with those that rushed in once the doors were opened.
Once you let one group of people into the building the rest wanted in as well and pushed their way in.

Mobs are human waves like the ocean.
Like the rivers of blood the Pharaoh saw.
Once you see the blood flowing your blood starts to move too.
And you won't even realize whats happening as your blood is pumping your legs forward.
Thats why we do the wave at the stadium.
Its nigh unstoppable to fight against that juggernaut.
    Like dowsing.
Water moves towards where the water is gathered.
We are water and water cells are like unique snowflakes.
Each of us has a pattern.
    Like a mark.
And when crisis hits we do not think.
    We follow our mark.
    We stay on brand.
    Like the cattle.
    Who all look alike.
And fly off the same cliff.
Like in the fall of niagara.

Protestors mood turned sour when cop violently punched a protestor on a ledge flinging him to his death.
Upon seeing this the protestors stopped having respect for the blue.

    A cop is a cop.
At the end of the day they work for their pay.
And they bark at who the sign says they are paid to bark at.

It doesn't matter if only 1 in 10 is a salaryman.
    That makes them all bad.
    That's how math works.
    But let's stop kidding.
It's 1 in 10 cops who is not a salaryman.
    Most are.
And like a salaryman they only care about their own safety and their families.
    Cops don't care about you.
    Even the best ones.
    They just doing their job.
It's a job description they liked.
And they can choose to do something else.
But this is the job they chose for right now at this point in time.
When you can be anything you want.
You want to protect priceless artwork and ancient statutes by killing a worthless protestor.
    I see how it is.
