"At some point, I'm going to put the guys out there that give us the best chance to win."

Really Davey? And what point would that be? When you're watching the World Series from your lazy-boy?

I would say this is a blessing in disguise but I have no confidence in Kimbrel being removed from his role.

The thing that really irritates me is that Kimbrel was given the soft part of the lineup, as usual. Vesia stranded the runner at second (with a little help from CT) by getting 2, 3, 4 out. Kimbrel faced four batters, none of whom were hitting .250, and he only got one out. Pathetic.

He said that in reference to Bellinger sitting, not Kimbrel. But he needs to heed his own words.

Both the third base and home plate umpires can go fuck themselves BTW. Chad Fairchild needs to be investigated for fixing games

yeah but if you compare everything, Kimbrel gave up a bunt single because no one was expecting a bunt, a walk partially because of a shitty umpire, and to cap it all off a jam shot blooper in a bad spot with a 73 mph exit velocity. that is in contrast to Vesia who gave up a walk and a scalded ball by McCutchen that just happened to be hit close enough to Chris Taylor. Offense also didn't get the job done tonight, they are still on the swing for the fences at all costs approach

Kimbrel is now 0-4 in 1 run save situations but don't worry...

Agree on Vesia, but at least he's been pitching well. Kimbrel hasn't all year and yes, he had some rotten luck last night. You're not going to get close calls when you scatter the ball over like he does.

Shame an epic catch by Taylor is wasted in a loss. One of the best I've seen by a Dodger.

Pepiot seems to be going through some of the same growing pains that Gonsolin did. Good stuff, just needs to throw strikes. His biggest sin in the first wasn't the HR to Adames, it was the walk to a struggling Yelich.

Love Alberto the cheerleader. Hate Alberto at the plate. Mindless hack.

Once again (Kimbrel aside) the bullpen was nails. Take advantage of a couple of scoring opportunities and the Kimbrel factor doesn't come into play.

Got no words for Gallo on the basepaths.

    You're a terrible person.
Bravo. Throngs agree with you, I'd bet.
That being said, it's the only way he'll go away, because the Roberts stunada insistence on repeating the same mistake again and again is a recipe for heartbreak...coming full steam directly at our faces.
So what you said... " so let it be written, so let it be done".
I think incessant booing and jeering by Dodger fans at DS when he comes in would send a message, but most of them are just looking for a swat at that fucking stupid beachball, I think.
Kimbrel, in his particular role and spot is more than capable of dashing an historic year to smithereens.
A perfect example last night, of a better calibre club and what the outcome could easily be...and the clubs in tnee post we meet will most likely be better than the Brewers, for sure.
Unfortunately, the 17 game cushion means nothing in this ultimate weakness, as we could win 115 games, and have it all go up in smoke by this has been and this spectacularly over rated Roberts.
So glad. we got Crazy Joe, too.
You can lick FO taint all you want, but getting Gallo and Kimbrel is like introducing free radicals into an otherwise very healthy body.

Everything you say is probably true and I still fully blame Krumbel. The walk to Urias in that situation is inexcusable. Last night I was only following on Gamecast, but if the graphics were accurate (and I have no reason to think they weren't based on his previous outings that I've watched), most of his called balls were nowhere near the plate. Can't have "Wild Thing" closing games for us. That's just a losing proposition.

The Wolters era comes to an end.

Barnes back in the lineup tonight.
