Ouch. 1GB and only 2.5 games ahead of AZ... Hopefully Victorino can help energize the team from the top of the lineup

We really need Hanley to be more than what he was in MIA. Either way it was a steal of a deal. But need him to be a dynamic force for us to do this thing. Not just a .250 hitter with some pop.

I like him moving to SS for the remainder of his tenure when he's ready and in the off season try to really get cracking on 'sure thing' bats if possible.

Completely agree with both of you.

I would be lying if I said our rotation doesn't completely instill confidence in me. That might end up being a bigger problem than we think down the stretch.

We bent over and took another Arizona dick in the ass. Fucking gutless cunts after stepping up against the Giants. Never even in the last two games.

Hate him but can't wait for Victorino now, at least the guy never just coasts and goes hard every game, even if he is average.

Just a rough two games. Harang and Cap will rebound. Just need pitching and offense to click at the same time. Victorino at the top will be huge. We've been lacking runners on base for Kemp all year.

His .320 OBP is going to light the league on fire!.. Sorry, still hate the guy. I can't wait to have him up top though.

Seems relentless bagging on some of these guys lol but even Dre man. He's not earning his money, and he's not a cleanup hitter for a favorited world series team. I don't even want to look up his statistics, as I fear they are probably declining pretty consistently the past 3 seasons. Power wise for sure. Idk if he's getting many XBH or not, but hovering between .280-.290 with 11 HR isn't 85M dollar material! Jmo.

He was a must return for me but still. He needs to step up his game a bit!

he's projected for 40 doubles but the power has come down a bit.

Yeah, he's an integral piece to a pretty good team. Just a lot of $ and I'd like to see more. I know he's capable.

So we sweep new York to come back and lose 3 of 4 to st Louis (yes I know we struggle against them but this is the same team we swept in la) then we sweep San fags to come back home and get belted by the d-bags.....see the pattern? In all seriousness we need to take this last game tomorrow with the new blood and come back and dominate the rest of this home stand against weak teams. Get the momentum back to start August.

The d-bags have a tough couple weeks ahead and the homos go to st Louie themselves next week. Let's do work!

More boring Dodger offense. I really was hoping that was a thing of the past.

Was at the game tonight and it was a totally packed house.

Highlight of the night was in the LF field pavilion where they had a huge blowup Modelo Beer Can and kept it away from security and cops for like 30 minutes. The game sucked so much we all just started watching that. Soooo awesome, and a total waste of resources as nearly, and I am totally not exaggerating, 15 security, ushers and cops went after the blowup beer can.

I watched the AZ broadcast. Reluctantly, Gibson came out of the dugout, with a dour expression on his face, doffed his cap, and immediately retreated to the dugout. If you know what he has stated about it all previously, the guy was a pure scumbag to fans and the LAD organization who was honoring him for the past heroics.
If you didn't know about him, you might think he was shy or something. Just hates us... plain and simple.
I wish we weren't getting our asses handed to us by these scumbags, not only is our pitching putrid, the lineup, even with the .245 superstar at 3B, is typical Dodger douchebaggery. Really, the team is showing a complete lack of heart after all these moves, and Cahill and this guy last night are not Koufax /Drysdale... same old shit as always. Completely dominated, from beginning to end.
NZ was exactly right about Victorino... he may not be what he was, but maybe some of his love for the game of BB, and his style of play will rub off on the rest or at least some of the sleepy Dodgers. If that's all he does, then he's a great acquisition. It's almost as if they don't want it, and the Giant sweep was the crowning achievement of the 2012 season... there's so much more to do...they are really a fucking yawn in these two last abominations.
Harang and Capuano were just sad. The pitch to Montero after Honeycutt came out was the biggest meatball ever to a LH power hitter. Horrible.
And so far, I'm thinking I wish our new 3B was hitting as good as theirs. So far.
    That'll change, I'm told.
We had a chance to put some distance between us and them, instead, now it's more precarious than ever.
Let's go Barney. Show 'em how to do it today...
