If Funkhouser signs now it will be a miracle. Kind of ticked we picked him and not someone else.

Apparently the talk of him not signing is overblown and it may come down to the final hours on july 17th, but he probably will.

Was he drafted in the 11th because of concerns of him not signing and thus them losing out on 150k for the total pool
Because if not why not draft him in the 10th round and give him the same 650k bonus
Since slot is 150,000 they would be +500k of their total bonus pool for that pick alone instead of +547,500
Could have saved 47,500 which isnt much but still adds up
da dodgers CFO needs to be fired and i need to be promoted

Pfeifer and Sborz have signed, amounts TBA. These 2 will likely determine if they can sign Funkhouser. The total allotment for the 2 is $1.391M

    Sborz bonus = $722,500 (slot 74 = $827k). Pfeifer bonus = $222,500 (slot 101 = $564,700). @MLBDraft @Dodgers

    -------------------------

Saved $446,700. Now $229,700 over but within the 5% threshold. They have about $159K between where they are and 4.99% overage to throw at Funkhouser. If Rios signs for under (likely), that will add to the number.

    7. Verdugo
    8. Anderson
    9. Sweeney
    10. Barnes
    ------------------

Bellinger was tough for me too, I am gonna have to see him in Tulsa before I know this isn't a Cal League fluke.

Austin Barnes has looked VERY good. Sborz is a guy I really like. So many specs and so little space, GREAT problem to have no doubt.
