So they sold more than 40,000 for 77 of 81 home dates. Seems like a pretty small percentage overall. I'll guess, based on initial stats so far, this year it will be greater; don't know if that would provide the impetus for renovation, though. Does kind of appear if seats are removed to make it look better cosmetically, it's like botox lips...do you need it really?
Also, how much does it matter to the FO what it looks like on TV if no one is watching anyway?

It says a lot, thank you for the kind compliment.
It is unfortunate that east coast people treat everything like its a religion.
    Including religion.

My, how laid back of you...
If I didn't know better, I would say you're being confrontational and sarcastic, unlike east coast people.

To be fair, the Dodgers lead the league in both home and road attendance pretty much every year and since moving to Los Angeles no team has played before more fans.

I´d put out the same message if, 1) I was dealing with a team that has an informal deadline to deal a Braun who´s about to gain complete no-trade power at the end of next month, 2) I were trying to squeeze out every ounce of value in a trade, and 3) - and maybe most importantly - trying to keep Puig´s focus as long as he´s still in a LAD uni. To the latter, I don´t think anybody in the LAD FO wants Puig battling trade rumors during the season..concentration obviously a concern for him in general, even before adding all that extra stuff to the mix, so just battle the hell out of ¨ sources ¨ as they come with your own. I´d be putting it out there that I want Puig here until the minute the deal was official..shock him just like last year´s trade deadline with the ¨ trade or demoted ¨ play. It wouldn´t even shock me if the Brewers were the initial leak here, trying to fuck with Puig and his emotions to slow him..I mean this all starts again ¨ coincidentally ¨ while LAD was in the midst of losing some games to starting LHPs..it´s a bit sketchy. Braun´s people could be at work too.

All in all, though, the fact remains that the Brewers claimed Puig on waivers. So if I´m LAD..¨ You want us to unhand Puig? Agree to take Kazmir along with him, give us some money on Braun´s books, and we can sort out a spec swap after those initial parameters are set. ¨ And we´d just have to milk that option for all it´s worth before I displace my most days leadoff man - Toles, who´s got more years of team control. Toles has been a godsend at the top of the lineup with his pop and speed tool..trustworthy at the plate and clutch too, LAD needs every bit of that. Good as he is, Forsythe´s injury history is too lengthy to just displace Toles.

    Yep, we agree fully
Disinformation campaigns are not solely the province of fetid gubberment three letter soups anymore

Braun is a potential huge asset.
Puig needs his focus tighter still but also remains a huge asset with focus

both at the same time WHILE using the words clubhouse chemistry simply IS NOT going to happen

Yeah other teams MAX OUT at less than our normal average attendance even with empty seats
    Tampa Bay = 2,514,402 (31,042)
    Cleveland Indians = 2,839,131 (35,051)
The Dodgers haven't drawn so few since 1994.. and I'm ashamed of that fact too

The Dodgers max capacity is 4,536,000 which is more than 500,000 more than second place Rockies or third place Yankees they only teams that 'could' theoretically draw 4,000,000.

Our attendence is great even with shitty prior ownership. We draw more than everyone almost always. Go fucking Dodgers.

If they actually, I don't know, Feed this team (like the damned Yankees did for decades) and what maybe LET US WATCH this team after a half decade without then they might hit 4,000,000 someday.

I tell myself that IF GG gave a shit they'd make it happen. How low do attendence numbers have to drop? To 0. they've been paid. they have no fucks left to give.

Because of Logans history of injury it is best we demand Villar if the Brewers want Puig.

I worry less about clubhouse chemistry with Chief of LAD Police Chase Utley around.
Utley may as well be player/manager at this point, the way they view him, but point taken for sure with those two guys´ backgrounds.
For me, the bigger issue with the idea of putting Braun in one corner and Puig in the other ( aside from displacing Toles) is that Braun/Puig are essentially DL twins.
Braun is gonna miss his 25-30 games a year and we of course know about Puig´s injury history and how it can strike and take him out for lengthy stretches.
That shit overlaps along with a dry spell from Joc/Yaz or Adrian´s apparent wild card status, and the NL West may be too strong this year to survive it.

I understand why they did them...the Chris Rock reasoning, imo, is absolutely perfect.
But how they think they are going to get away with it now is a mystery to me, man...just seems impossible these days.
