I feel you. The Dodgers have a lot of questions right now: is Taylor for real? Is Utley back? What to do with Forsythe when he returns? And probably the biggest question of all, can Adrian return to 2015 form? So as much as I say the Brewers are going to shelf Braun talks for a while, it's probably in our best interest to shelf those talks for a while too.

While I think the odds of Adrian returning to 2015 form are low, if he does return to form then available spots start disappearing quick.

And then the last of those questions would be " what to do with Puig " because he's just an 8-spot hitter right now and not a slot better, everybody from Kike to Utley to Joc fresh from the DL have been jumping over Puig in the order daily.
I feel like literally all the questions that have to do with the lineup come down to a comparison with what Puig has become.
Like.." Is Taylor for real? "..compared to Puig, how real does Taylor have to be in order to shuffle some things around to accommodate him?
Because Taylor isn't just hitting, he's also drawing a ton of walks and displaying acumen.
Then.." Can Adrian get back to being 2015 Adrian? "..compared to Puig, does Adrian even have to be that good to perhaps shuffle some things around to accommodate him?
Because when it comes down to it, I think we'd all still be more confident in Adrian having a MLB-caliber AB in a big spot.
And you can just go down the line.
But ultimately, of all the questions on the table right now I think the most concerning issue is Baez being in the set up role and clearing up who wins the right to start a Game 2 in the post season behind CK.
But the headlines will of course go to " what happens when Adrian gets back " because who doesn't love a Wally Pipp story

He walked 4 times yesterday, didn't register an AB. Thought that was funny.

    Just in case:
If you lock your wife and your dog in the trunk of your car, when you let them out, which one is happy to see you?

Alex Wood named NL Player of the Week
by Matthew Moreno | Dodger Blue — 47 minutes ago

Los Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Alex Wood was named National League Player of the Week for the period of May 8-14. Wood is the Dodgers’ second player to win the award, with Cody Bellinger taking home the honor after his first full week with the team.

This is the first time the Dodgers have won in consecutive weeks since Yasiel Puig and Josh Beckett did so in May 2014. Wood is the first Dodgers pitcher to take home weekly honors since Clayton Kershaw and former teammate Zack Greinke were named Co-Players of the Week in July 2015.

The Player of the Week Award is Wood’s first in his career. He went 2-0, throwing 11 scoreless innings and collecting 21 strikeouts to just two walks in two starts during the week he was recognized for.

Wood’s outings with 11 and 10 strikeouts marked the first time he’s put forth back-to-back starts with double-digit strikeouts. The string of strong performances bought Wood additional time in the rotation, even with Rich Hill and Brandon McCarthy on the verge of returning.

Overall this season, Wood is 4-0 with a 1.76 ERA, 1.61 FIP and 1.01 WHIP in eight games (six starts). His 12.11 strikeouts per nine innings and 33.1 percent strikeout race are on pace to set career-best marks.
