i'm sure a lot of people are familiar w Gramatik but I just started listening to them in earnest last year was sitting in this crazy club in medellin and they were pumping one song after another and it was flipping me the fuck out that i'd never heard this stuff this is the same song w a rap over it and i can't say i hate this version either

i really don't get how he has been able to pull this charade off the first time i saw him w all the american flags and his big cross around his neck i was a little pissed about it then that commercial just kept coming on tv/radio fucking everywhere one day i'm in bed bath and beyond (gay i know) and actually get to see that fucking pillow in person its a bag of torn pieces of foam rubber! he talks about "inventing" this bag of shredded foam and sells for $50 a pop! i mean its absolute trash and bullshit but people are buying them and they did a show in costco the other day i just can't take it anymore his back story is a recovering alcoholic that sold a bunch of bars to finance the my pillow venture so on some level its admirable then the other day i see his new commercial where he is on the other side of the mirror and finds himself in the bedroom w a couple explaining how down and memory foam pillows are no good he's pressing and pushing on their pillows while they are in the bed, its just too much now i know snake oil salesmen are a part of life but this asshole is waaaaaay too cocky someone somewhere has to have dirt on him i didn't want billy mays to die but i have to admit it was a relief to not have to hear "billy mays here" ever again its time for him to go fucking slapdick jackass cocksucker

its a fucking mystery if you look the product up people pan it all over the place same as you but that train keeps rolling i spend for down they just don't last very long but this guy is basically stuffing a bag w trash and the public is obviously consuming it total frauds always manage to make it if they just keep spending on ads if it was cheap i'd get it but $50 is what a reasonable down pillow costs

He has a criminal background if I recall. Arrested for domestic assault, passing bad checks. He was sued for false advertising and the BBB removed their rating for My Pillow for saying some sleep association recommended his product when they didn't. From what I can tell, he's pretty sleazy.
Bed Bath & Beyond is a good place to find some hard-to-find knickknacks, but man do they peddle a lot of shit.
