All the stories have been told
Of kings and days of old,
    But there's no england now.
All the wars that were won and lost
Somehow don't seem to matter very much anymore.
All the lies we were told,
All the lies of the people running round,
    They're castles have burned.
    Now i see change,
But inside we're the same as we ever were.
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Living on a thin line,
Living this way, each day is a dream.
What am i, what are we supposed to do?
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Now another century nearly gone,
What are we gonna leave for the young?
What we couldn't do, what we wouldn't do,
It's a crime, but does it matter?
Does it matter much, does it matter much to you?
    Does it ever really matter?
    Yes, it really, really matters.
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Now another leader says
Break their hearts and break some heads.
Is there nothing we can say or do?
Blame the future on the past,
Always lost in blood and guts.
And when they're gone, it's me and you.
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Living on a thin line,
Tell me now, what are we supposed to do?
    Living on a thin line.

It was and is, always so.
It will never change, only cosmetically.
Only in what he says or imposes.
What we are, we are, in spite of rules and what we know to be right.
    Or wrong.
For as long as man has inhabited earth, in spite of amazing achievements and creations,
What man is inside, is constant.
His core lies still and constant as Polaris.
    Without alteration or modification.
We know all men, whatever or wherever they come from, are brothers
And all from the same family, whatever they look like, whatever they believe in.
Whatever they eat, whatever laws they set down.
Brothers...but within men, on a level we can only begin to contemplate, is an innate natural law of self preservation based on the Alpha, and until that leaves all men, at the same time, nothing will ever change.
    And it never will.

Might I suggest Deep Tracks on XM. Not the same old formula classic rock. If you like blues, then Bluesville is your ticket.

i love Spotify and for $14.99 a month it commercial free for my family and I as well as one other um friend
so basically $3 per person a month to listen to basically everything i can possibly think of by 98% of the artists i care to hear
and i can listen anywhere from my phone or my laptop
good radio stations and dj's were fun but i can do without the commercials and love having my own mood lists in my hand
jump in the car and the bluetooth connects, feel like classic rock, boom its lord of the thighs, since ive been loving you, behind blue eyes and hundreds on shuffle
entirely worth it from my perspective
i thought satellite would be the answer (bought stock in it) but sadly they pay for a list of songs they can use and its just not deep at all
had xm in a new car and within a month recognized the same songs playing on multiple channels
what i miss about radio is being exposed to new music
and i know not many here agree but there really is a LOT of great new music out there you will never hear on radio or satellite

Love Sirius for one reason...the new Beatles channel.
Much of it brings back very happy, giddy memories.
I always say that I was lucky to be around when everything changed forever...I watched it, loved it, lived it.
To hear it all again, analyzed and broken down every time I get in my car, is just what the doctor ordered for this old man, imo.
Hey Jude. I hope your listening to it too, wherever you are, darlin'...

This. I use Pandora but same concept, Spotify is a little more robust. I'm lazy so I'm good with the $4.99 Pandora subscription, you don't choose the songs with that sub, just name an artist or song and they play similar things. If you are only interested in the music, Spotify or Pandora are the way to go. If you are ok with ads, both have free subs too. Iheartradio.com is an option as well for listening to radio stations all around the country.

Side note, I'm getting into computer programming and Spotify is active in the programming community. They have a number of videos talking about how they organize their programmers. Seems like a good company with good people.

There are a number videos about Spotify's Agile on YouTube (note: this video is probably boring for anyone not looking for Agile/Scrum info):

    a couple of things...
first off... vacation isn't a verb, but i digress
anyone who leaves their children alone/unsupervised should be beaten
couldn't find anyone to take care of them? here's an idea...
why didn't you leave them with the relatives the children were ultimately released to?
    fucken trailer trash idiot
and don't be fooled by the "poor mom" mug shot...
here (scroll down) are a few more pics of her, the last one while "vacationing" sans kids in europe :smh:

Mother arrested after leaving her kids home alone to vacation in Germany
Associated Press — 5 hours ago

JOHNSTON, Iowa (AP) — A suburban Des Moines mother has been jailed after she left her four children home alone while she traveled to Europe for a 12-day vacation in Germany, police said Friday.

Johnston police have charged Erin Macke, 30, with four counts of child endangerment and one of transferring a firearm to a person under 21. Police said the latter charge was filed because a firearm was left at home within the children's reach.

Police said Macke tried but failed to make child care arrangements for her children — two aged 12, one 7 and the other 6 — before leaving Sept. 20 for a vacation in Germany. The father of one of the children was called by his child the next day, and he tipped off police that the children had been left unsupervised, Johnston police spokeswoman Janet Wilwerding said Friday.

Johnston police Lt. Tyler Tompkins told Des Moines television station KCCI that Macke's baby sitter options all fell through, so she left the two 12-year-olds in charge.

"They were concerned, they didn't know, they were confused," Tompkins said of the youngsters. "I mean, we're only talking about 12-year-olds being the adults here."

Officers went to the residence Sept. 21 and called the Iowa Human Services Department, which took custody of the children. They have since been released to the care of relatives, Wilwerding said. Police called Macke in Germany, demanding she return.

She had planned to fly home on Sunday.

The mother was arrested on her return Thursday. She remained in custody Friday, according to Polk County Jail records.

Court records don't list the name of an attorney who can comment on her behalf.
