Daughter and grandkids were out here from Dec 27 until Jan 2. Spent five days at the Central Coast with highs in the 60s and low 70s. They went home (north-central Ohio) to single digit temps. She's ready to move back.

i know we have all shared how tough it is to say goodbye to our pets today i put down my 150lb rott who had contracted cancer in his leg and my 15 year old chow mix that had been suffering dementia and arthritis i've had better days
Truly saddened to read this, Diablo. My heart goes out to you...there is no replacement for what transpires between a man and his loyal dog. Something elemental is gone. I think it was Shelley, who said about dogs, " I can see only one thing wrong with dogs...they just aren't here long enough". Sorry for your troubles ...
thanks guys feeling a lot better cause he was starting to feel pain fuck cancer and the akitas are totally animated patrolling the rest of the yard now dynamics between dogs is crazy and they had to be separated after the new pup arrived that dog wanted to fight the rott and 6 months and would push the old girl around i let them come out and inspect the cadavers before burying them something cathartic w digging the hole and burying your friends nearby
Sorry for your loss brother. My dog passed the other day as well. Heart problems took her. Barely been able to function since. Going to jump back into pet ownership? Was wondering because it took a couple of days for me to want another pet but talked myself out of it.
don't ever remember not having at least one dag around part of life just wish they lived longer some pup out there needs you
