A = Auroch = Bull = Baal = son of Al-Ilah = the being that represents the power of god in animistic society.
A bill or a bull is the same thing.
God or the Law is the same thing.
The power of the law is contained in the bull.
Which means the bill is the law.
And that is how man creates with his hands the idol called a statute.
    Bulls on parade.
Whatcha gonna do when the bull parade runs wild on you!

It's a good idea to not eat as many things that may cause allergies or other ailments as we can help it.
I love shrimp fried in butter, with small mushrooms, garlic, and scallions. Specially on the shell.
But I try not to eat shellfish.
So I get salmon ribs and fry them skin down first so they release all that fat (they have tons of good fat) and fry in their own fat.
Make great tacos or if you add a little coconut cream, liquid aminos, and sesame seed oil and you have a good protein for a south east asian dish.

I 'll put those old Rodney riffs on for background noise at times. Think he made Johnny shit his pants a few times. Ed was probably shitting his pants anyway.

Kind of ironic that he was one of Sam Kinison's mentors.

Worry not @Gebbeth there are still a few of us determined to die younger, though happier, with the taste of a well seasoned tri tip on our breath, mixing casually with potatos, carrots and whiskey.

Not that I won't eat granola, but it will never be the main course.

    Papa John's fallout continues
Company pulls founder's image from its marketing

by Candice Choi | AP Food Industry Writer — 3 hours ago

NEW YORK (AP) -- Papa John's, which has featured founder John Schnatter as the face of the company in logos and TV ads, is pulling his image from its marketing after reports he used a racial slur.

His face was off at least some materials by late morning Friday, though the company said the details and exact timing for everything were still being worked out. The pizza chain said there are no plans to change its name.

Schnatter is still on the board and is the company's largest shareholder — meaning he remains a key presence. Papa John's has acknowledged in regulatory filings that Schnatter's public role as its pitchman could be a liability if his reputation was damaged. The company got a taste of that last year, when Schnatter stepped down as CEO after blaming disappointing pizza sales on the outcry surrounding football players kneeling during the national anthem.

This week, Papa John's was already trying to further publicly distance itself from Schnatter after Forbes reported he used the N-word during a conference call in May. Schnatter apologized and said he would resign as chairman. That prompted the company's stock to recover some of the losses it suffered after the report, and shares were up less than 1 percent Friday. Schnatter owns nearly 30 percent of the stock.

In addition to appearing in TV ads, Schnatter's image has been on packaging and at the center of a logo that usually was all over the website of the Louisville, Kentucky-based company.

Keith Hollingsworth, a professor with Morehouse College's business department, said keeping Schnatter in the marketing and advertising would signal to people that the company does not have a problem with his comments, or that it doesn't think they are a big deal.

"Five years from now, they might be able to start bringing him back. But at the moment, you have to be very decisive and show you take this very seriously," Hollingsworth said.

Schnatter had used the slur during a media training exercise, Forbes said. When asked how he would distance himself from racist groups, Schnatter reportedly complained that Colonel Sanders never faced a backlash for using the word. Schnatter subsequently issued a statement acknowledging the use of "inappropriate and hurtful" language.

"Regardless of the context, I apologize," the statement said.

The fallout from his comments continued Friday. The University of Louisville said it will remove the Papa John's name from its football stadium, and that it will rename the John H. Schnatter Center for Free Enterprise at its business college. Earlier in the week, the school said Schnatter resigned from its board of trustees.

Major League Baseball had also said it was indefinitely suspending a promotion with Papa John's that offered people discounts at the pizza chain after a player hit a grand slam.

Papa John's International Inc. began operations in 1984 and had more than 5,200 locations globally. The company cannot afford to alienate customers, with sales already under pressure from rivals such as Domino's. For the first three months of this year, Papa John's said a key sales figure fell 5.3 percent in North America.

might have even been a tad bit of veracity to his statements had they not already been in full swing w the cheaper ingredients thing
their current pizzas aren't even close to what they started out making
it the home depot formula of business
do it cheap and well until most of your competition folds and then sell off your soul for the money
poopy johns was never in it for the long haul and all the principals are walking away filthy rich no matter what happened

Papa John (Schnatter) now claiming he was “pushed” to use n-word
By Carl Stier | New York Post — 9 hours ago

Embattled pizza chain Papa John’s on Friday moved to erase the memory of founder John Schnatter — literally.

The chain, with 5,212 locations, said it would remove the 56-year-old executive’s likeness from its logo, promotional materials and other marketing efforts, days after he drew heat for using the N-word during an inter-company conference call.

In addition, Major League Baseball has discontinued its Papa Slam promotion with the Louisville, Ky.-based company, and at least 12 MLB teams — including the Yankees and Mets by Friday— dropped local sponsorships. Also on Friday, the University of Louisville said it would remove Schnatter’s name from its football stadium.

The 34-year-old pizza chain plans to hire an independent expert to audit all the company’s processes, policies and systems related to diversity and inclusion, Chief Executive Steve Ritchie said in a statement. Ritchie stressed that the chain, with 120,000 employees and franchise “team members,” is more than just Schnatter.

Meanwhile, on Friday afternoon, Schnatter, in an interview on WHAS, a Louisville radio station, said he was pressured to use the N-word during the conference call.

“The agency was promoting that vocabulary … They pushed me. And it upset me,” he told host Terry Meiners. It’s caused a lot of grief for my community, for my university,” Schnatter noted. “My employees are distraught, they’re crushed, and it’s all because I was sloppy and I wasn’t as sensitive. It’s the same mistake I made on the NFL comments.”

The executive caught flak in January when he said Papa John’s, a longtime NFL sponsor, saw its sales get dinged because of the league’s players’ national anthem kneeling protest.

Those comments led to him stepping down as CEO — and the NFL cutting ties to the chain.

Pushed to use the N word. That's rich.

As he was building his multi multi million dollar mansion with its own golf course, he complained about a 14 cent increase in pizza cost for healthcare...and then threatened to reduce hours for his workers to get underneath the healthcare threshold.

Did someone force him to say that?

When he blamed the NFL for the player kneeling thing which he claimed hurt his sales, did someone force him to say that?

First mistake was making yourself the face of the franchise and chief advertising figure....then you should face the consequences of being that narcissistic.

Second was not owning up to your big mouth. Arrogance is pretty hard to hide when you are a narcissist.

Finally, that god awful plastic surgery you got makes it even harder to stomach. For an "honest" pizza guy, looking like a 70 year old Hollywood starlet isn't exactly the right look.

You made bank with a Dr appt pizza chain. You should have just left quietly with your hundreds of millions and preserve at least some resemblance of dignity.
