    Well stated buddy.

We own a bunch of Mtn property and last trip up we had a black bear wander into camp late at night while 3-4 adults were still awake. My 6' son barked at it right before the two dogs in camp also barked at it and then it ran away but... bears be another story and a teenage or youthful bear almost always has a momma lurking nearby so BE CAREFUL. I'm glad you got the dog back in the yard and I would keep a close eye on him. Not asking if you have a way of backing up the dog. But I do. You should. Or be prepared to replace dogs.

My wife's family has land backing up to Angeles forest and they don't see bears as much as big cats. They lost numerous cats and dogs over the years.

Speaking of this stuff have you ever had it in your hands?
Could it be made into a sort of chainmaille that can sense the force of an impact and type of impact being made by a weapon striking the armor connected to the body by electrodes in the fabric that relay the energy to a network be it online, local, or neural?
If so I would be into that stuff.
And if it could be made into big european style swords even better.

Thats real nice. Ive had baby bears in my front yard playing with my dog on my first week of living here. And momma bear looking down from the iron railing trying to climb down to get into the front yard. I said good luck my little doggy you seem to be getting along just fine and closed the door. The big ol momma finally gave up trying to get in and the baby climbed out and belly flopped really cutelike to the other side and then they both waddled away. Not waddled, I dont know how to explain but it looks kinda funny and cute how they walk. Specially from behind.
Although the one I saw today was in full gallop like he was running away from something. He was lean too. He looked like a gorilla or a short wookie because he was upright a lot of times. I think it was because of the downhill slope and the fallen trees and brush in the way. It looked fucking cool is all I gotta say. And I have been a up close face to face with a bear with less than a foot and a thin bedroom windowscreen between our faces and been walking around mountain paths and encountered bears a few times where I have had to run away back home or worse and have had to jump into a ditch and wait while the bear checks the scene out gets bored and leaves but this was the coolest looking bear ever.
Then again from my vantage point I had plenty of time to get a really good look without having to run away or hide in fear.

We see cats all the time, there was a big one up here that everyone was getting warned about at the bottom of the hill sometime last year. I saw a nice lynx looking guy about a month ago driving down the hill around 11 PM on a pale moon night.

I have never trained out their personality so whatever and whomever they are really takes advantage of their potential. Not all have the hunter/killer character. Its fun to watch them out there like sentinels patrolling their zone.

Yeah it's exactly that. Certain polymers exhibit semi-non-euclidean fluid properties when under immediate impact and chemically fast change energy from one angle (incoming) to dispersed energy along the skeleton. Yeah the gooks and spooks both are watching closely.

So chain mail = likely, but broadswords.. not so much as the energy equation doesn't work.

The chain mail or other armor types with properties like that is actually the most important part. Helmets for instance would be awesome.
If you could fire an infrared or other type of light or energy pulse device at the material for it to register it as a hit from a weapon or a point in a game then that truly would be a game changer.
If each piece of armor has independent properties and hit points for instance. You can take 5 hits to a breastplate before it starts to fail digitally while your bracers and pauldrons stop absorbing damage after 3. The gamification aspects would be really fun to work with since you can make a LARP with digital scorekeeping for instance.
Better yet an MMA/Gladiator melee pit where guys in full medieval armor smash each other with blunt swords, maces, axes halberds, and hammers. Like the international medieval combat federation but with digital scorekeeping. Or with foam weapons for the kids.

    Dude so here's the drill..
electrotech fabric prototype #1, the simplest, offers energy absorbtion. That alone can provide the signaling potential with current products to do essentially what you seek. Again the devil is in the details. Weaving / braiding a vest sort of device is possible but would need 'tooled' per your/our specs. Non trivial, but possible.

the second type where an electro-chemical-mechanical change happens is further towards bleeding edge but still getting close. We have it already converted in explosive panels for the wearable military apps but 'paying' to develop the consumer version.. well it won't be free.

I've been following the tech developments for 15 years and we can do some pretty cool things.. but still a whole bunch of what we hear is not ready for prime time... aka for 'eyes' only

At least I have sought treatment...others just accept it, and scoff at the mention.
They have made great strides in treating this, but it is very expensive. I could use some help...please send donations to:

    every woman has that characteristic
    it's in their dna
always looking for a way to beat the man down
and they're very cunning and clever about how they go about it
    hilarious and pointless really...
because as badly as they want to make you [the] subservient, there's nothing more unattractive to them than a whipped, servile, fawning manbkitch
and the second they break you... you're fucken done
they want you to have the balls to call their bluff and put them in their place
and yet they're never content and will always -- for as long as you fucken live -- keep testing you
amazing how transparent they are, and yet how all of us... at some point in our life have fallen for it
can't really explain why... other than... well...
